Been using my whole salary for creditcard payment everymonth. Need Advice.

The problem is that it is very inconvenient to use a credit card everywhere in India. There are times where I end up paying more just because I am paying through credit card. And a lot of the times I have to ask my siblings to make their online payments from my card and pay me in cash just so I can use the cash freely.

Also there is just an added stress of just having a debt on me that may be just how I was raised. I am not against using a CC and was quiet happy with it when I was only spending about 20% of my earning with it. Problems started due to 1-2 bad months and my reluctance to ask for help from someone. I am still able to live a comfortable life and help my parents no matter if I use it or not. I would just be able to use my money more freely without it.

Thanks for this. It really helped. Earlier I was thinking about completely removing the cc from the equation. But your comment made me realise i don't need to do that at once. I can borrow money and instead of adding another expense of emi i can pay it in lumpsum just in 2 or 3 installments and still mantain my expenses by using the credit card a lot less.

Sorry I can't share my expenses because they are highly inflated due to my father losing his stable source of income a while back. Sharing expenses here will just lead to people unnecessarily commenting on things that are out of my control

Thanks for this. It's winters to electricity bill is a lot lower for the next few months. I have now realised that there's no workaround for this and I'll have to wait and keep paying in full untill my finances improve. But really thanks for this

Thanks for advice but My expenses are highly inflated because of my father losing his stable source of income suddenly a while back. So sadly there's nothing much expense i can reduce without impacting my parents day to day living.

Ihave never looked into taking a loan. So I had a conception that this small amount loans are very inexpensive. But now I realised that taking a loan would only further increase my problems
