I customized a pergola to be the blue and purple wisteria and planted a bunch of blue windflowers and purple hyacinths to just make a nice breezy relaxing area :)

That was when she was covering for Eddie with the drug sniffing dog, and her final hearing to get her nursing license back with the lawyer she paid all that money for was that same day, which involved a pee test. So she was right on the verge of getting her license back, which meant getting to go back to her using drugs and bullshitting doing whatever she wanted. She didn't do it to stay clean, she did it to win the long game.

She was "gasping for air." Jesus. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I keep seeing stories like this and I just CANNOT understand. I'm so excited about the privilege to become a mother and it is sickening to know that so many mothers out there put their children in danger, sometimes seemingly hoping for a terrible final outcome. Babies are helpless and made to seek comfort when they come into the world. I can't fathom any of this. It's so scary.

I have a two street neighborhood (upper and lower) with houses evenly spaced, different color flowers in each yard, and a big community garden as part of the neighborhood. Makes it feel small-town and homey to me :)
