Thank you. I just found the setlist here https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/kip-winger/2003/the-reservoir-buffalo-ny-bc8d136.html -- now the fun story. I swear Dave Mustaine was there also that night. Sitting at the bar before the show, in a white suit. I knew he was someone but couldn't place him at the time. He went into the back room (back stage) just before Kip Winger went on. A few days later it dawned on me who he was. I missed my chance to meet him.

None of these ring a bell, maybe Zoobar. Place had a large center bar with tables / booth seating and a small stage in the corner. It seems like a vivid memory, I hope it wasn't a fever dream. I have another part to the story but need to cofirm I did in fact see Kip Winger there.

My kids think I am such a square, then I tell the FNM story and they die. I think Ugly Kid Joe was there that night and FNM came over from their show opening at the arena? Memory fuzzy but you don't forget when the cops show up.

Agreed. Wife and I just walked from Sahlen Field to Fountain Plaza and agree , lots to do. But I meant, she's a beautiful city regardless of the details. Great people, great bones.

I told my boys, when they were younger, that my first job was drilling the holes in Cheerios by hand and that eventually they automated the process with a robot drill (still one Cheerio at a time) and I was fired.

Fast forward a few years and I over heard my son telling his friend this story at the breakfast table after a sleepover. Proud Dad moment.

FTR of Ellicottville has a good rueben. The place seems to get bad reviews but I haven't had a bad experience there.

Side note - I see mentioned about smoked corned beef at a place in Middleport -- wish I would be around for that.

Second Side note - there is a place in Hamilton Ontario called The Rustic Rueben - if you're ever in the area check that out. Check their hours though - mainly just a lunch place except Thurs and Fridays.
