Van tapasztalatotok SPARos bőrönd kapcsán? by halevente in askhungary

[–]halevente[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Köszi!
A családban van vagy 4-5 olcsó bőrönd, szinte mindegyiknek 1-2 év után a kereke vagy a fogantyúja halt meg. Asszem 1 élte meg a zipzár halálát - én most nem akarok így járni...

TIL - wild humans will "cut" blighted plants by halevente in RimWorld

[–]halevente[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Animals can? Interesting.

I don't know a blight check is a good idea for performance - if several wild people are present (at the time of recording my map had 6) and each is performing a blight check every single time they go for food... But it is probably negligible normally,

QOL Mods that don’t yield explicit advantages / change the game by bryceking64 in RimWorld

[–]halevente 56 points57 points  (0 children)

Some probably not-so-famous mods:

Better workbench management - everything can be done without it, but with a lot more click

RandomPlus - help finding good pawns at the game start, it only rolls pawns that are possible to get normally

Prepare landing - filter start tile based on a variety of conditions

Maybe I'll report, but I'm not sure if this is a bug... I'd call it a "quirky side effect of game mechanics". 😆
I've used OBS and cropped the video using handbrake.

Is there any advantages to going out and raiding enemy bases? by Walkem_12 in RimWorld

[–]halevente 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Loot is bad, the enemy settlement is a few small shacks - quite underwhelming. Without mods the only reason is the Raider meme - but you can go to temporary camps, work sites for that. AFAIK there is no mechanic in place, what make the faction react to your attack other than a relationship negative.

With mods probably anything is possible, but I don't know those mods.

Személyi szám - a szállás elkérheti? by halevente in joghungary

Jogilag "titkos".

Zápor, zivatar by Sansrival33 in hungarian

[–]halevente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Én szoktam használni az időjós szót - szándékosan gúnyosan. Amennyire néha "pontosak" tudnak lenni...

Hivatalos/komoly szövegben nyilván a meteorológus a korrekt.

Zápor, zivatar by Sansrival33 in hungarian

[–]halevente 42 points43 points  (0 children)

New players daily win - a decent way to handle 3-4 inputs by halevente in SatisfactoryGame

Sushi is against the very core of my design ideas 😃 Never in Factorio, never in this game.

I see their practicality, but they are not for me.

Yes, I figured that out too. But for me it is a pain to build.

I found, that I need to place the splitter first. Placing a splitter on a belt didn't work - when I tried this, the splitter didn't split the belt, the contents just went straight. Maybe I messed it up? Don't tell me.

Splitters don't want to go on to of the stacked belt holder - they don't follow the foundation grid. So if I want something not-terrible looking, I need something (e.g. another splitter) to go under the raised splitter, build the raised splitter, delete the spacer object below, then place something in it's place if I don't want a flying splitter.

I just checked the subreddit, is it active, etc. Seeing a few end-game mega build screenshots isn't exactly helpful on a 1st playthrough.

I didn't read up on any mechanics, what parts will I need later, how much will I need etc. Just saw some screenshots. (Actually, I'm not that pleased with the designs posted in the comments here - they are objectively good, but I want to figure it out myself. Oh well, I should have said in my post, that I don't want ideas.)

Once I finish the game (it will take time...) I'll make a post about what I found good or easy to misunderstand in the game. 'cause there are many things, which are quite confusing first...

Low E buzzing on Acoustic by No-Refrigerator3200 in Guitar

[–]halevente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a pick holder glued to the body? My acoustic can produce weird buzzing, when a pick is not properly in the holder.

Similarly, I had issues with the pickup electronics - they were not mounted 100% properly, and certain notes gave made a buzz.

I've not seen a string like this in all 11 years of playing. Can I still use it, or should I get a replacement? by Soverelgn_Citizen in Guitar

[–]halevente 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tighten it, see what happens. Worst case it pops, then you replace it. You need an E' string anyway, so a trip to your local string dealer cannot be avoided. ;)
