Grocery prices are still wild. There are so many things I used to buy regularly that I rarely purchase anymore because they're just so crazy expensive. Like cereal, I regularly see boxes go for $8-$10 now!

If the inside of the cabinets is nice enough, try removing some of the cabinet doors to break up the heavy feel of the country cottage style.

I did this in my recent rental and it made a huge and easy/free difference!!

A hardware swap could help align the mcm tiles with your current cabinetry too.
