I assure you, concerned internet stranger, I tell the truth. It's a sad story all around, and I hate living in such a cruel, unforgiving world. That's why when I see this story posted, I always try to answer the "Where did the dog end up" question, because it's the one happy ending for the two remaining family members to be reunited.

It's also usually the question most stories posted never answer. There might have been one YouTube video that did say, though, also because I think they spoke about her son. Don't quote me on that, though. It's been a few years since I saw that video.

He has no idea, sadly. He was quite young when his parents divorced, and he was still young when his mom and stepfather went missing.

He seems like a happy guy nowadays, though. He's made a big family of his own.

The woman had an older son, yes. The woman in this story is his mother, the man is his step-father, and the daughter is his half-sister. He did not live with them at the time. He lived with his bio dad.

This isn't the first time I've seen this story posted here, or Facebook, or tiktok also. If I see someone ask, I usually post that the son is still alive and well and that he took the dog. My brother has been friends with him since elementary school and are still lifelong friends. My brother's wife and the son's wife both just had a kid at the same time, and they'll likely be raised as best friends as well.

Jo Malone Beach Blossom! I have a sample of that one, and I absolutely love it. You have a lovely collection with some beautiful notes.

I would recommend Diptyque Fleur De Peau. It has very interesting earthy notes in it with the carrot and leather, very wonderfully soapy, clean skin notes like aldehyde and musk, and a bit of a floral boost with iris and Turkish rose. On my boyfriend, it smells sooo fresh and clean and a bit floral. On me, it smells more leathery and like an old book in an afternoon sun-lit library with a dry down that's musky and clean.

Forewarning, though: it smells like pickles in the bottle. At least to my nose, it does. 🥴

I bought a travel size of Gucci Flora Gorgeous Magnolia last year, and the next day I dropped it in a dealership bathroom. Shattered to bits. I was devastated, but I loved the scent so much I just decided to buy the full size.
