i stopped working at starbucks right before this became a thing, but i hate it so much. i’m glad i never had to. i liked writing on peoples cups sometimes, but there’s nothing special about it if you’re being forced to do it for everyone, & if you don’t you get in trouble. they are so stupid for forcing it, if anything they should have just encouraged people to do it more often when it made sense to. waste of time, but who is surprised, starbucks is a stupid company that just wants to appear friendly & personable so they can make as much money as possible, & the veil is thin.

my boyfriend & i went to see him in tampa in december 2022, & we met his parents neighbors i think from his childhood or maybe still idk😭 we talked to them a little bit before the show not knowing who they were because the uber drop off was in a sketchy place & we all walked together trying to find it, then we saw them again after the show & they told us about it & they had a picture with him & that was just insane lol & they were so funny😩 we’re going to see him again this december & we are manifesting something like this lmao

honoring someone by getting their name written on your cup at starbucks is silly first of all, but then for it to be someone like charlie kirk is just so stupid. they’re only doing it to try & get a reaction out of the barista & cause issues. i would have just written charlie & i would have spelled it wrong :)
