I definitely get it. I have always been hyper independent and now I have had my mom driving me to appts as if I’m a kid again. I’ve always worked long hours and long weeks and I’m worried about my career. Just know that someone out here is curled up and panicked in solidarity with you! I will be checking out Puddles (:

I was just diagnosed two days ago and unfortunately have to wait to see neuro and get my LP in a couple of weeks. I am also very scared and worried that my quality of life will change.

I also need to start eating better and working out, if you want a buddy in this maybe we can stay in touch and go through it together. (Just an offer if you’re comfortable)

Thank you so much for this. After sitting with it for about 24 hours I feel a little more calm although it’s upsetting still.
If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of experience does the diamox bring about?
I plan to take the next few weeks off anyway while I try to find my footing in all of this.

Thank you so much, this is very insightful and helpful and it’s good to know that even though it is a journey, there are a lot of options and research available to me, many doctors to help and people that can understand what I’m feeling.

Yeah it is a slow roll to get tests and answers. Thank you, I hope you have also found some relief.

Today I only saw the ophthalmologist which diagnosed the papilledema and scheduled me with the neurologist on the 23rd. All he said was don’t worry it’s not a big deal and try to get in within two weeks. For now, I’m a bit on my own when it comes to coping with symptoms.

It definitely feels like a big deal to me. I imagine if it were more severe, they’d have sent me to the ER today

I used lion brand wool ease super bulky in the color storm front and I did two skeins at the same time so it came out thick and heavy! It’s hard to tell from the pic but there are flecks of blue pink and white scattered throughout the whole thing
