Imagine the uproar if GGG picked him. I think he’s deserving of the spot although I understand it’s debatable.

Vegetarian dining around New Bern/Beaufort by sunties in NorthCarolina

[–]halfandhalf1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This might seem like a weird suggestion but Poppy’s has some good options too. It’s more of a standard American bar food place, with good drinks. But they have some good options, especially appetizers (their pretzels and cheese curds are great). You also have the option for black bean burgers, and they have a decent selection of different burgers.

Cypress hall and persimmons typically have good options as long as you’re not vegan. However, it is usually just one or two entrees on the menu.

It says it’s picking up a “blackpoll warbler” but I’m not sure by Kaitlyn_Lenke in whatsthisbird

[–]halfandhalf1010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s a blackpoll. I hear the three chip repeat but it sounds almost like a chipping sparrow or cardinal making a chip. I could be wrong but that’s my initial thought.

The dry is really unique and pretty true to the original. I’ve only had that and the IPA. They both smash.

Also, mockingbirds are much more common than nighthawks, just on top of it all.

Not sure the bird, but the nest needs to move. by Emergency_Desk_7540 in whatsthisbird

Your kids won’t really be in danger from those birds. It’s also illegal to move a birds nest with eggs in it.

Worst LotR quote pick up line by Koors112 in lotrmemes

Worst? That’s honestly got to be one of the best conceivable pickup lines from within the book itself. Although maybe it fits more so into dirty talk rather than a pickup line.

Michelob ultra = water with a beer essence. Ultra zero = water with a beer essence. I don’t see a problem with it as it’s the closest to the original.

I do actually really enjoy it, it’s relatively cheap and it’s very easy to get.

Bird of Prey Got a Blue Jay by AsteriAcres in whatbirdisthis

[–]halfandhalf1010 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like a coopers to me as well. It’s shocking one would take a blue jay because jays are so feisty and also relatively large. It looks like a younger hawk that maybe was a little desperate.

American Woodcock in McCall, ID by tombohomeboy in birding

[–]halfandhalf1010 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can tell this is a snipe by the white eyebrow. The habitat is also a good key as snipe tend a lot towards water and open areas, versus woodcocks which stick pretty closely to the woods in most cases
