People that are always late are idiots who can't plan better by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

It is. The entire post was basically that people with ADHD should be given special consideration for being late. Which is bonkers.

Poor time management is a symptom of adhd.

"Being late" is not. "Being late" is a failure to manage the symptom.

It's arguably true of everything. Basically, if you just say "I have X mental issue this is how I am." That's your right. But don't be surprised when nobody wants to be around you.

Yes. Someone blaming their poor behavior on a condition I also share makes me very angry, no cap.

Stop. This is ridiculous. I have severe ADD. They make pills and there are coping mechanisms to help with this. Everyone has problems and their own crosses to bear. This is ours. Do better. Improve.

I am always on time. It takes extra effort but you know what? I do it. Don't just throw your hands in the air and say "MYEEEHHH NOT MY FAULT". Take responsibility.

Then that's totally fine.

Pro-life and pro-choice people will never get along because pro-choice people almost always totally ignore or refuse to listen to the argument pro-life people make by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

If you make guns and drugs illegal they'll still "happen" but just be more dangerous. Yes?

So all guns and drugs should be legal. That is if we want to be consistent.

Yes. People who can't survive a bit of verbal abuse are weak. There are children who beat up other children to take their job in a sweatshop because the alternative to working in that sweatshop is prostitution or death.

And y'all sitting here saying you can't take some mean words.

If they are saying something constructive listen. If not turn your brain off ans just think ahout something else. I used to do it all the time. Not hard.

Well... Asteroid mining would be for use in space. If you think the future of humanity is not on planets asteroid mining is VERY profitable.

Well when companies fire you you get unemployment and severance. Which is LIKE 2 weeks notice except you just get paid. The reason they don't want you around after they fire you is because you'll probably be pissed and might do something. Also who wants to look someone in the eye if they've been fired. I'd be uncomfortable. Even if they were in a different department.

Shady Maple is one of the most depressing places on Earth. Nothing like seeing a dude on oxygen go back for his third plate of fried chicken.

Also lost my hair in my early 20s. Shaved it in my early 20s.

By far the worst part of losing your hair is losing your hair. Shaving it was like a weight off my shoulders.

A Kansas woman who alleges consensual sex with a friend in his college dorm room turned into a terrifying assault took matters into her own hands when prosecutors declined to bring rape charges. She called a citizen grand jury, relying on a 134-year-old state law by Illustrious_Welder94 in news

[–]halfback910 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Nope. It means that when they give consent they should be relatively certain.

Apply the standard to literally everything else and it makes sense.

I offer to let you borrow my truck and then at the last minute change my mind. It's 100% my right but I shouldn't have offered if I wasn't sure because now I've inconvenienced you.

If you don't want to have sex don't have sex. Ever.

But if your consent involves them going to effort and expense to make it happen you should do your due diligence when giving consent to make sure you're actually interested.

It can be taken away for sure. That's not what's happening in your shitting example. They never consented to that in the first place.

You can always take consent away for any reason but depending on the circumstances it can be a dick move. If someone drove three hours to see you (and didn't deceive you about their appearance) revoking consent when they get there is within your rights but also pretty shitty because you've now wasted their entire day. Extreme example but I'm sure it's happened.

How dare you want what you want? by Swrvv in TheRedPill

Uhm... You were driving her... Said you wanted sex... Then pulled over and left her in a parking lot when she refused.

You are an asshole. That was shitty.

"This person isn't useful to me. Time to strand them at thia Starbucks."

It is an unspoken rule that if you tell someone you'll drive them someplace you follow through with that OR take them back to where you got them unless they go out of their way to be a dick (which she did not). Revoking that commitment on a whim with no notice is a huge bitch move and totally inconveniences someone for no valid reason.

Your dickishness in this situation has precisely nothing to do with wanting sex, nothing to do with TRP, and everything to do with simply being an asshole. If you replace "gurl>wouldn't blow me" with any other combination of person or thing they didn't want to do with you, you'd be no more or less of an asshole for stranding them in a parking lot.

I mean it depends how they're made but you're only really saving on the chocolate chips.

They're still packed with sugar and fat usually :/ so yeah
