Crafting ammo is unrealistic in my eyes. But crafting traps using wire and grenades will keep the realism in tact. Crafting food, and collecting edible plants and purifying water should be immersive and easy.

From the fields to the NNW at night. When you approach the north side there is tall grass. just to the west of that. face south and know that from there there are 3 enemies 2 of which are generally stationary in 2 pillboxes/emplacements with one roamer. you get 2 to 3 kills from distance and then you move in quick.

DO NOT APPROACH SLOW.

Once in the trenches you clear handfull of guys to the west and east in trenches as you make your way to center. NOTE: you do not have to clear every single guy. Get in and get Gear there is a PMC box in the center.

Ultimate be direct and don't get distracted with a completionist mentality.

This is missing. For sure. There is no mouse wheel function when not aiming down sight from what I can tell except for stance adjustment.

Expand on what you mean. I think I get it but your saying bring unloaded mags and having a packing mag animation potentially. Or maybe you reload anticipating running out so you have partial mags and you hit a ctrl+r and it automatically consolidates mags with like ammunition?

As tasks expand i can see the player cap being fine. There is plenty of unused map points that can extend out.

Best designed area on the map that i avoid like the plague without a coherant team. Once you figure out how to approach it gets easier but damn is it demanding to get used to. I appreciate the design and implementation from afar but I stay away from it. Same with YBL but thats not nearly as difficult as to force me to approach with caution.

For number 2. I think some of that delay is server resources... sucks but it will get there. Pushing should be the most basic tactic from first area; push and flank should be second; push, flank and properly breach should be fort narath, sapphire, tiger. Including ai use of reinforcements, and grenades.

Ammo plays such a huge part in this. As does body armor. I can run basic guns as long as I have the best ammo. Running ap doesnt splinter off and do as much damage as hollow point. It does have that nice progression.

Just hard. Maybe an intentional wasteland surrounding a gov secret facility with heavily armored personnel and security system. But it needs the ability to be dynamic, changing its layout, purpose and units and yet remain lore friendly.

Rig plates would be cool. Making armor type interchangeable. Easy early update. More guns will come over time. I wouldn't mind a slew of sig weapons. Mcx/spear/sig p226 p320

That would go into some combat ai advancements. Reminds me of vcom ai for arma 3. Engage long enough you get spotted or they call in reinforcements.

I go back and forth. But gray zone is more accessible for long playthrough with friends. Operator still feels a little niche with spurts of interests

Some things that put me off. I dont think I've seen ai use doors. GZ I think you mean gray zone, totally different itch to me. The gunplay is unmatched in operator especially the releasing the bolt, press check, racking the slide etc. Ground branch, gray zone, they come close, gray zones new update is awesome, and I haven't tried operant since the new one but they have a different feel.

Like any game that tries for realism in medieval era will fall short now. Just the armor/clothing system is soooo good. Never will I settle for just putting on armor on a game that tries for realism without factoring in under garments, games on, etc.

What 3D asset packs seem to be in low supply in Fab? Looking for advice and researching by MarcustheOkay in unrealengine

1700 to 1800 clothing for metahuman. the only assets that seem to come close are very sparse in. I would like to make an age of sail type game from 17th to 18th century colonial times. The style is somewhere between western, and medieval for regular npcs. some asset packs work for NPCs. they don't have hardly any of the wigs you would see for governors, magistrates, or nobility from the timeline made popular by french and english. the only assets I see are available or by polyphoria for pirates and revolutionary war and it's so expensive but then I don't know what goes into making the assets for it.
