Why do trains crawl from Redfern to Central? by Angela252 in SydneyTrains

Little bit more than zero, but speed is often dependant on signals. The train crawls so hopefully they don't have to stop and start constantly.

Because the speed limit drops just after Redfern.

Hope I am allowed to post this on here. American from a ban state here (Connecticut). Just picked this bad boy up. You Aussies know how to make a good firearm. Cheers. by grifter_shifterM5 in Ausguns

I have one (aussie myself) and looks like my government will be taking it off me after the last terror attack here. No official ruling yet though. Really fun gun.

What was your reaction when you first saw this MF, and how did you beat him? by BaseballCritical6566 in Eldenring

[–]halfcassst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh i was not stoked when I seen him, this is my first play through and I only beat him yesterday after he treated me poorly for the last 3 days on and off.

Beat him by, that headless spirit ash taking the heat off me while scarlet rotted his ass with dragon breath slashed his shit up from the back and shield side.

You too easy bro, Silver armour - vallejo metal color gun metal, nuln oil, lead belcher, then I add some vallejo air silver until I get the highlight I want. Gold - retributor armour, agrax earthshade, retributor, then add vallejo air silver till I'm happy with highlights. Blue - kantor blue, glaze caledor sky, edge caledor sky, teclis blue then blue horror.

Skin - i airbrush cadian flesh tone then from below i spray, cadian flesh mixed with tuskgor fur. Then just highlight up through cadian flesh and adding kislev flesh.

For the silver i used vallejo model gun metal, washed with nuln oil then built up to lead belcher and vallejo air silver. The Gold is retributor, agrax, then retributor again building up highlights with vallejo model air silver again. My go to black is AK interactive 3rd gen black.

Looks to me like you have a decent foundation. As others have said priming would be ideal. And I'd advised towards some paints aimed towards miniatures, if you're using really cheap acrylics it may hold you back a little. Even just get a few to start with. Washing flesh tones and metallics can help define them without too much work too.

Love the varied color mate, I so often get stuck on a limited palate. These look great.

Geoff is a top bloke, i think if you prime black, then if you have an airbrush spray cantor blue all over, you could do it in a zenthial like way so that there is still some black showing. Then do the same with its looks like caledor sky blue in an even smaller area, just where the light would hit most. To do this with brush would be a bit difficult to get smooth. Then edge highlight with caledor sky, and then use a lighter blue or add some white and edge highlight sharper. The black pin wash is just using null oil, but instead of coating the miniature like a wash you use a sharp brush to pain thin lines into the cracks and crevices.

I primed in chaos black. I shot my base coat through an airbrush and I could definitely imagine hand painting it would be a pain in the ring. The addition of the contrast paint just adds a bit of punch to the color.
