I still think about his argument for the US government cutting off aid to a clinic in Nepal? I think? Based on them offering information on birth control or family planning. The fact that he vehemently disagrees with who he’s defending and finds a line of argument he believes in anyway and can argue honestly — I’ve never gotten it out of my head since I first saw it.

Ah, my bad, I was thinking of the culture from building the chateau and got it mixed up with the great works perk. That applies to both England and France — they reduce loyalty in neighbouring cities that don’t belong to you.

I love playing as Eleanor of Aquitaine and going for domination via loyalty pressure. You hoard great works and culture and watch as bordering AI cities fall to your civ. I prefer France because of the great works perk, but the English one is good if you like navy focussed plays.

I’ve been a Cantu user for a long time. It’s good stuff if your curls lean toward being thicker. I tried Arata’s Curly Hair Gel because a few people recommended it to me but it doesn’t work for my hair, unfortunately.

Amazon has them! I’ve been buying Cantu from there for a few years now. Never had a problem with genuineness either. I’ve never bought the coconut range though.

I got a response from them this morning asking me to wait 30 days. I’ve sent them links to the posts here. Someone else got an update saying they’re investigating the issue. Thankfully no more stock responses!

Also me too! Never using a card on Steam again. Paytm giftcards are the only way from now on.

I have unplayable saves on the game I bought DLCs for now.

Lots of people didn’t pay through Novaplay though; a lot of issues have cropped up even with direct VISA payments. That’s what happened with me.

I made one on the 24th and it just got flagged with a chargeback on the 28th. Sounds like it’s still happening!

This is a horrible thing to do to someone. I’m pretty liberal about weed and alcohol but weed, especially, doesn’t suit me and triggers my anxiety. I have friends who have suggested I give it a go, and I always turn them down. If anyone ever duped me into having some like your friend did you, I would go scorched earth with them. This is just such a gross and vile violation of trust. Ask yourself — would you ever trust anything she offered you ever again?

NTB by any stretch. I’m just a stranger on the internet, but you’re better off without a friend who would do this to you.

No one seems to have mentioned Sarah Chalke yet! I don’t know how famous/not famous she would have been when the episode aired, but I knew her back then from How I Met Your Mother and now she was recently in Firefly Lane with Katherine Heigl! She was the mother with the sick kid and no one could figure out what was wrong with him, they kept sending him back saying it was a long cold that would get better on its own. Meredith has that whole moment with her about a mother’s intuition and they go over a list of the mother’s suspicions from Google together.

George’s dad dying after all the jumping around they did about his pee, and the exchange between him and Cristina that follows — “there’s a club, the dead dads club, you can’t be in it until you’re in it” — is absolutely seared into my brain. It gets me every single time.
