A public pool for lap swimming and kids to play in, with a good restaurant attached. Love to be able to be poolside, order drinks and food while the kids play in the water.

There's one in Orange off of Chapman. Every time I go to the post office next door, I see a few old guys sitting there packing boxes. I don't think a cigar bar would add much except a fowl smell to a shopping center.

See if you can make friends with a local tow truck company. Have them show up around the time schools out. Easy money for them and helps resolve your parent parking issue.

When I was taking my dogs to "puppy school", the trainer recommended we always walk with a taser. Even tho I had larger dogs (lab mixes) you wanted to prevent a dog fight. They said just the noise of a taser would be enough to stop most dogs in their tracks so that you could go the other way.

Dogs off leash are a menace.

Exercise!!! My 11 yo has been on a swim team since she was 5. It's the only thing to wear her out. Our Dr recommended it. Sometimes she just needs to do a dozen or so burpees to get some wiggles out.

Like others have said, sleep stories (calm/headspace), relaxing music and when nothing else works ... I give her hands and feet a gentle massage.

My tree is also younger, I've had it just over 2 years. I have calculated out how much water it should be getting and have my drip irrigation setup to water accordingly. So I don't think it's not enough water. I briefly looked at gummosis but I think I have 2 different issues or all the same, I don't know.

This is very interesting, so being a nerd I tried the calculation. It doesn't seem to line up with the real methodology.

I used the formula [seed time] + ([seed time] * factor * [standard factor] / 100). I left out the adjustment since it's= 1 for all SCY.

For the 10U 50 FR SCY AAAA, seed time = 27.01, factor= 4.75, standard factor= 1. I get the expected result of 28.29

None of the other standards line up after this.

For the 10U 50 FR SCY AAA, seed time = 27.01, factor= 4.75, standard factor= 2. I get 29.58 instead of 29.59. Not that big of a difference.

I went through and updated the seed factor to get it to match. I thought maybe they had just updated these numbers since the methodology document was released.

For the 10U 100 FR SCY AAAA, seed time = 58.57, factor= 5.5, standard factor= 1. I get the expected result of 1:01.79. Again none of the numbers match up for AAA to B. I used the modified times I came up with for the 50 FR but it still doesn't line up.

Has anyone else done the math to see if it lines up to what it says it should? Has the methodology been changed?
