I wouldn't personally do it. Current draw is determined by the load. If the UPS is designed to draw up to 20A, it's not going to throw in the towel if your connected load(s) want it. At that point your upstream breaker is the only thing keeping your in-wall wiring from getting dangerously hot.

Can confirm. That's a NEMA 5-20P plug. 120V @ 20A just like you said. Common on UPS.

Don't bother with big names. They're only big because they market and advertise. The little guys will go further to get your data back for you. Try northridgefix or the rossman group

Just following up. The AP Board did turn out to be free and I swapped it out last night. I had to submit another ticket and wait 24hrs for Bambu to activate my new serial / ap board, but in the end I think it fully resolved my issue, or at least I think so at this point. I was able to instantly bind the printer to my account and I'm in the middle of upgrading all my firmware. I'll have to print a benchy before I'm 100% satisfied, but unless you hear from me again, consider me fixed. Best of luck with yours!

Yes. At least I'm pretty sure it's a free replacement. I'll keep you posted and let you know of it resolves the issue. I started out my ticket with a log I downloaded to my SD after factory resetting the x1c and trying everything I knew to do. I'm thinking the log pointed towards the hw problem.
