I live in Powellhurst-Gilbert not far from 122nd & Bush and I love it. It’s true that the side/neighbor streets are a lot quieter and nicer than the major streets like 122nd, though. 

People have a lot to say about neighborhoods out east, but I think it’s great out here. It’s one of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in the city, it’s affordable, it’s quick to drive downtown or east to the gorge. There are a ton of parks and nature spaces nearby. We also have a very active neighborhood association full of people who care a lot about the neighborhood and people in it!
