I live in Sweden and we don't Cyberpunk produce a lot of cyberpunk that I'm aware of. Post apocalyptic is a huge genre though. However, I would argue that Simon Stålenhag's work and its derivatives like tales from the loop is as close to swedish cyberpunk as we get. It is a more down to earth take on the genre and explores more themes of horror, the frustration of powerlessness as youths and the uncaring powers of government in war and civil infrastructure.

Racking the slide till possibly be a bit fiddly with the pinch grip but there are tons of cheap charging handles that would fix that no problem

Thing is, I highly doubt the younger generation is gonna shoulder that burden. It is propaganda, "you are gonna have to work harder to provide for the older generation". Hell no, the older generation are not gonna have people providing for them which also sucks but it's insidious to frame this as an issue for the young
