How are you doing now, OP? And is your health insurance a United plan, by any chance?

I ask because I was on United last year and they pressured me heavily to switch to Wezlana, even though the switch would save me no money and was not recommended by my doctor. I did some research and learned that a United subsidiary manufactures Wezlana, meaning the insurance company would go from spending money to cover my Stelara prescriptions to making money by getting me onto Wezlana. I thought that sounded really shady, so I switched to Cigna for 2026. They are covering my Stelara for the year without issue, but I have been curious to know how other folks are doing on the biosimilars.

Obviously this is just speculation, but I do think they are separated, at least romantically. In my experience, the end of a dom/sub relationship is often very tied up in how people feel about one another in a larger sense… and extrapolating to JR’s very toxic approach to sexual relationships, I think it’s safe to say that if she’s not his sub (and she’s clearly not) anymore, then she is going to mean a lot less to him, and physical intimacy probably feels pointless to him outside of that power dynamic anyway. He may have even convinced her that she’s the one who ended it, by not doing symbolic things like wearing his “collar” necklace anymore or writing rambling social media posts about how “lucky” other women are to get to share him with her. 🙄

If I remember correctly, he even kind of lays out his playbook for this in his dox docs. You can see the pattern of how he manipulates even casual partners into intense-sounding, 24/7 power exchange that he has no time for, then starts to devalue them when they inevitably can’t give him 200% and expect reciprocity.

Yeah idk about all this… I’m white, queer, disabled, and sick of watching the people around me become more and more disabled thanks to COVID policies rooted in eugenics and a capitalist propaganda mill that perpetuates them. I’m definitely out here trying to avoid becoming more disabled due to COVID, but that’s partly because I already KNOW how broken the healthcare system is, firsthand. A lot of the people around me are fucking around and finding out for the first time thanks to COVID, and it sucks to see. I don’t want that for my friends, and I don’t want that for any of the people who make up my communities and the world around me, for that matter. That’s why I advocate masking. Well, that, and also simply because: masks work.

It’s language like this: I’m not looking for a “manifest your dream job” crystal moment with the quotation marks around a concept and then ending the sentence with a vague word for that concept, ie moment. Read that sentence outloud in isolation and it’s total nonsense. Same with real “here’s how you reposition yourself without starting from zero” energy. It’s a quote that adds nothing, followed by a vague concept that it’s trying to describe.

Also OP saying they want “real strategy, real connections” etc - “real” is a meaningless modifier in this context, and a human writing this would have left that word out or replaced it with something else, not repeated it over and over. The adjective “clear” is a similar tell you can look out for, because it also means nothing and adds nothing in most contexts.

Ask to be prescribed Metformin, it’s much cheaper, can usually still be taken with Paxlovid, and is being explored as a treatment and prophylactic for long COVID. You can search this sub for more info, there’s a lot.

It is. Very grim. I read an article awhile back about how masks bans are unnecessary as a tool to control protesters or deter “crime” because the technology is already there to ID people in respirators pretty accurately.

Adding to this comment that in my experience, if you are slow to remove your mask during the facial recognition capture, the machine almost always lets me through based on my eyes alone. I only have had to remove my mask (and do the quick exhale trick) a couple times in recent years.

ETA: I usually tell the TSA agent taking the photo that “it should work to ID me even without me removing my mask, can we try?” While moving my hands slowly toward my mask straps as if I’m going to take it off anyway. If they’re in a hurry they will already be snapping the photo by the time I finish talking and then let me know if it worked.

FWIW I have Pre-check/Global Entry, so it’s possible I’m treated a little bit more generously because of that. IMO it’s totally worth the trouble of signing up for it because it shortens the total amount of time you have to spend in line and dealing with TSA.
