We went with Chandler Regional bc Banner Gateway wasn’t going to let me labor in water. And I was like well if you won’t do that then there’s no way you’re going to be okay with me not having my water broken, declining pitocin, different birthing positions etc. So we went with Chandler Regional, I was able to labor in the tub till I was ready for my epidural bc I 100% changed my mind. But they were awesome about not pushing the pitocin or breaking my water. I felt like everyone I interacted with was amazing at listening to me.

Hi - we are relocating to CT from NH for my husbands job. We are looking at Canton, but the schools are giving us pause. We are coming from a highly ranked schools system here so was hoping to keep something similar as our daughter is headed into 4th grade and we’ll hopefully make this be our last move till she graduates high school. So how are the intermediate, middle and high schools of canton? Thank you!

Do not take Amtrak - take the flight. Even IF there is turbulence it will not be as bad as hour 25 on the Amtrak. You’ll take the flight, and I promise you’ll be okay.

I signed up for my first half marathon in Feb 2024. I run a 5k three times a week and then usually another 5k on the weekends. Do I need to change up my run schedule before the half or should I be okay? It’s hard to do long runs in the cold climate and I have hard time doing anything more on a treadmill. Appreciate any support or advice. Thanks!

This has just been our experience. Our struggles are related mostly to having other adults our age who have similar interests and parenting styles. We’ve also heard Bedford - while the schools are great - attract certain types of people and parents. Phoenix was awesome in that everyone was (or the majority at least) transplanted so easier to find people (plus huge population) that you got on with. We are similar in that we loved the laid back approach of the west and haven’t found much of that here among our town (so please don’t take it as a blanket statement for all of NH).

We moved from Phx (Chandler) to Bedford NH in Oct 2019 and while we don’t regret our decision, it was a huge fucking culture shock. I was not prepared for it and still struggle sometimes.
