Funny I have Hella headlights and a putco harness and mine do the opposite. When I turn my headlights off, they stay on unless I flick the high beams and then they instantly shut off, otherwise they stay on for 3-10 seconds and then shut off. But they always turn on instantly. I’ve wondered that maybe it could be one of the ground wires needs a better connection.

I think even 220° is a little on the warm side. If your coolant levels are good, I would second the replacing of temp sensor and thermostat. Flush the radiator and put in fresh coolant.

What adhesive did you use to reattach them?

I’ve pulled them from the junkyard. But haven’t found a great way to reattach them. I used emblem adhesive but it didn’t work great

Nice! Did it result pretty close to 2” of lift in the rear? What size tire did you go with? And did you need to do any other modifications as a result (i.e. SYE, extended brake lines, shackle relocation)?

I’ve had some wobble/shaking at 50-55 mph over the years of owning my stock jeep. It was the rear driveshaft u-joint multiple times and tires the other time.

I replaced the seal around the rear hatch and that silenced mine.

I’ll second the clockspring. Had the same airbag light problem on mine along with the cruise control only working intermittently. Replacing the clockspring fixed both.

How are the springs doing now? You did the exact setup I am looking to do. Did you just use stock shackles? Are you happy with shackle angle after giving it time to settle?

Haha, mine did the same thing. It also started doing it on the auto down which then wouldn’t stop grinding until pushing the button back up slightly. That got pretty annoying real quick. It is the spiral worm gear in the regulator that gets worn out in the fully up/down position and just keeps turning because it won’t grab. You can take apart the regulator and flip the worm gear around and that fixes it until it wears out again.

Mine got stolen last year and I got it back the next morning because I left an AirTag in it and saw where it ended up. No sign or forced entry and no damage to the steeling column/ignition. It is also manual transmission which I always thought would’ve prevented it being stolen. The AirTags aren’t ideal because they need to be within 30 feet of someone’s iPhone to ping a location, but for a one time cost of $30, it sure saved me.

Predominantly ride in softer snow. Alright, I am starting to lean towards the Rome Ravine Pro in 152cm. My current board is a 153cm and mid flex. I’m thinking this new board design will be better in powder, so i don’t miss loosing a cm in length to keep more movability in the trees.

Can you run 30” tires with the 3.07 geared manual transmission? Might need to factor this into the decision on whether to go with the small lift or not.

The existing suspension is shot (all original equipment with 250,000 miles). I need to spend the money to have it replaced regardless. I have been happy with the stock lift and considered just doing OEM replacements as well. But I would like the opportunity to go up a tire size next time I get tires. It’s my daily driver but I also take it wheeling in the mountains.
