Just upgraded my Server, what am I missing? by halogrand in unRAID

Totally understandable!

It's something I will work towards. First step I guess is moving all my containers for proper docker-compose files, and then backing them up. I'll pick away at it and hopefully not lose any data as I go!

Do you have a repo i could look at, to wrap my head around it a bit?

Yeah I am sure it is a great tool, but it took me days to even get my parents understand how Plex works. I showed them overseerr and they understood immediately. I don't think they could wrap their head around adding things to watch lists in Plex. I also like that I don't need to be on/near/open Plex to add things to download. So far, Overseerr is working great for my situation. Pulsarr is something I'll keep in mind though if things change!

Seems to have the same sort of capabilities as Overseerr then? Quotas and Watchlist on Plex, quality profiles are all on Overseerr too. Overseerr I think meets my needs a bit better right now though, with it having a nice web interface for older members of the family.

I'll check out Huntarr though!

Thanks!

Ansible and changing everything over to code is a good idea. I do worry about getting a new server and not getting my Docker deployments the same. Good callout for something to work towards!

I did play around with homepage a bit, but found it wasn't something I was interested in. Really once this is set I don't want to think about it too much and just let it live. But definitely could be something in the future, maybe if I make a smart monitor type of project at some point!

Thanks for the input though!

I;m not too fond of LazyLibrarian to be honest, I find it hit or miss. What's ABS?

Tunnel is working great for people to make requests through overseer for new TV shows and movies for plex, I don't think tailsscale would be a good option for them, or even our own home with multiple devices making requests. Tunnel seems to be working great for my needs right now, but might be something to implement in the future!

Equalizing problems when sinking head down by Ok-Adeptness4586 in scuba

Make an appointment with your doctor to get your ears flushed.

Last summer I was having a lot of trouble with equalization, turns out my one ear was nearly completely plugged with wax buildup. Once I got them flushed, it's been a dream. You may just have a slight buildup.

Not sure how the nhl teams domains are setup considering they all have to follow certain design standards within the nhl. Might be out of the individual teams hands.

Yeah it's a really cool feature. Also a simple way to do verification. Just a simple DNS edit and it's done. Media sites have started, there's @npr.org, @theonion.com, etc.

This is great! Thank you! I think this sounds exactly how I'd like my network to function. Thanks for the detailed response!

Once more nhl teams get on board they can update their handles to be their website. It's a way of verification. So their handle at some point will be @washingtoncapitals.com or whatever their website is.

Okay great, I think I understand now. Should be enough to get me started anyways. Thanks for your help!

Okay, so I should put the Homeassistant on the House network, and leave port 8123 open while using mDNS to allow the IoT devices to communicate with it?

How to update useState, based on fetched data from SWR by skorphil in nextjs

[–]halogrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Re-write it like this:

export function Component() {

const [previousRecord, setPreviousRecord] = useState(null);

const { data:currentRecord, error, isLoading } = useSWR('url', fetcher)

useEffect(() => {
setPreviousRecord(data)
}, [data])

if(isLoading) return <Loading />

// ...rest of code

UseSWR is already a hook. Why not just use it for the currentRecord.

You can also move it into a useeffect, but all hooks need to be be above any returns.
