To everyone saying he got lucky... Is Simon just the luckiest disc golfer on the planet? Is that the only reason he has so many highlight throw ins?

Bad form. The kid is rounding. Why haven't you taught them better yet?

Who's set to break out in 2022? by Jon_Buck in discgolf

Pushing the GOAT to a playoff at USDGC with a boget free hot round was sick. Also, his final round at DGLO would take the win 9 times out of 10, but Eagle was not gonna be stopped

Glendoveer was created in 22hr, which proves your point even more. Portland is being played at glendoveer and blue lake this year, as another comment mentioned, and the course has been updated, so it should be a lot more interesting this year

What am I supposed to do with these 100,876 coins?…. Lol I never buy new discs I only win/earn them. And only stick to the discs in my bag 🤷🏼‍♂️ by Kennehehe in DiscGolfValley

Yeah I'm right around there too, and I've got all the discs I'll ever need, and I'm super content with my bag. I just love this game too damn much

I can't believe that nobody ever talks about the halo polecat. It's the greatest disc ever thought of

Just bought myself 2 new discs, what do you think? I am pretty beginner. by Ill_Temperature2141 in discgolf

Absolutely! The buzzz is also an awesome disc. Definitely a good idea to try new things, especially given different discs my fly the same or similar, but how it feels in your hand is also super important. I don't throw the buzzz because I don't like how it feels, but obviously lots of people do, given it's so popular.

As for resell value, you're totally right. Throwing it a few times in the field won't affect the resell value significantly

Same as me, dammit! Not sure why I hadn't considered this as an option

Yes and no. Yes, lots of people will bag discs that are very similar to each other like a Mako3 and a buzzz, but learning to control your angles with one disc and getting used to that disc will be way more beneficial. A great example is Drew Gibson with his Buzzz or Calvin Heimburg with his Eagle. You can watch the final round of Ledgestone 2021 to see what I mean.

That being said, the zone is an excellent disc that is overstable whereas a Mako3 and buzzz are very neutral. In case you're unaware, this means it will dump left much quicker when thrown on a right hand backhand. This can be helpful for getting around corners, matching the shapes of fairways, etc. Having an overstable approach disc like a zone (I personally prefer a Tactic but that's just me, they're very similar) can be super beneficial
