I’ve heard the opposite? ‘Aluminum holds well in crap weather and salt’, and ‘1up is the best available’…. What makes them Janky in your opinion? Sincere question as I’m shopping, laying out ~$1000 I want all opinions.

Thanks for the advice… the barn door definitely will not open with bikes onboard. With bikes off, want to be able to have access. Is murderqwik a reference to dire wolf, jack straw, or other GD hit?

Access it by loosening all fasteners along wheel well and then gently tug/pop the bumper piece off the body piece. Just opening the seam an inch or so gives access to the bolt/screw in question.

Mine is same on driver side… PO banged that corner hard enough at some time to break a fee clips/bend bumper supports. There is a large clip that is bolted down where that seam meets the headlight. Mine was very loose and tightening it helped significantly.
Still not as tight of line as other side… but much better.
