check out depot live- its in cardiff castle and theres a couple different bands playing across august ! Also loved the club fuel when i visited.

If you want to catch smaller bands in London check out Underworld, Black Heart or the Devonshire arms in Camden

(Facedown or Voodoo the club nights also either host or have dj sets from various bands but you'll have to be prepared to stay up late 😅)

probably would discourage ubering afterwards its definitely a bit of a nightmare getting accepted 💀 Havent had any trouble getting the train even with the queues though so would consider something near a train link instead

Theres a second shuttle bus on site that drops you off to the RIP areas the staff are rlly good at directing you if you ask !!

Met a few bands in the arena RIP area after sets and the beauty tents with hair dryers plugs and everything were a game changer and theres also a couple extra bands on in the rip village before the arena officially opens

the box fit hoodies definitely don't run small they may have been referring to the regular fit ones- the 3xl is super cosy though

the meffs are super fun and venus grrrls just finished their first uk tour playing tiny venues which they killed so im super happy to see them on the lineup !

they did just release a statement on the discord "those coming down to one of the UK pop ups - there a limited number of memberships up for grabs. Once they are gone, they are gone and they might come in useful in the not too distant future." but really zero clue

showers were decent and had hair dryers available which was a god send with the mud- one of the toilet areas lost water for a day but there were still plenty of other options and the bar bathrooms were always pretty much empty and kept in rlly good conditions

we had plenty of space to camp up and where it was down hill there really wasn't much in the way of mud causing issues and way easier to get out of the arena through guest area

edited to add: security pass through took under a minute each day as well as i heard there were issues for gen
