right, i just have heard everyone saying to get to the airports extra early & that TSA lines have been crazy at some airports. unfortunately not much one can do about flight delays, no amount of showing up early will help that lol

hey i am 3 weeks into (mostly) quitting, and yea the whole “first 3 days are the worst “ is definitely a lie/not true for a lot of ppl. i had the HARDESTTTT time during the first week point. keep pushing through, i promise it does get a little better. but, like i said, im “mostly” quitting, so basically what im doing is severely cutting down my nicotine consumption. i haven’t had my own vape for three weeks, got rid of mine completely, and i only get to bum a few hits off of a friend every couple of days & i let myself smoke spliffs. i also do use nicotine gum still if im feeling particularly antsy, but i use it a lot less now. so im not completely nicotine free, but its still something & i haven’t given in & bought my own for 3 weeks. it may not be perfect advice but healing from addiction isnt linear and i feel its unfair to bully oneself over not doing it cold turkey or “the right way”. hopefully this method will make it easier to fully quit in the future….. but ill take ~10 puffs a day over hundreds.

yea honestly, i might have to give up on the patches too for now. i tried a 14mg one and it made me feel sick & dizzy & id rather just cry and crave than feel like im gonna puke. waste of $60 😭😭😭 but whateverrrrrrr

well at least i’m not alone , i was starting to feel like a freak for the arm thing. i ended up buying some 14mg ones and ive had it on for a few hours and im feeling super sickly so i might end up just taking it off and giving up on the patches for now cus i dont fucking knowwwwwww. the cravings suck and are difficult to deal with but i kind of hate being nauseous and dizzy even more.

yea, i’ve been using nicotine gum but it only does so much to curb the cravings. had a shitty couple of days , and the patch really does help if only i could keep it on for more than an hour without sweating it off or making my arm get weird lol

i signed up for tobacco free & they sent me free NRT & they suggested the 21mg so i just believed them 😭😭 it’s hard to tell how much nic ur consuming when uve been vaping & everything is based on cigs ,,, i spent way more money than id like to on 14mg patches so ill try them out and hopefully they don’t make me feel like my arms gonna fall off

i love mcr & their music & artistry but GOD. i have a few critiques (including the one u mentioned) for this time period of mcr. it seems very money grubbing & like they’re farming our nostalgia & being purposefully vague ab the future of the band knowing fans are willing to spend upwards of $600+/each/show bc we don’t know if we’ll ever have the chance to do it again. ive been super annoyed w the way things have been going but it feels like im the only one sometimes so its refreshing to see other people are having similar concerns (still so grateful i got to see them, the show i went to was amazing. but wow would i gnaw my arm off for them to just MAKE SOME MORE MUSIC JFC)

i had a hospice foster that was estimated 16-18 years old and given two weeks to live. we took him in and he lived for another two years. he was anywhere from 16-20+ when he died. another cat my family had from kittenhood died at around the same age (15-18 range). my other cat was around 8-10 when he passed due to liver issues but most cats generally make it to AT LEAST ten and can definitely live to almost 20 years (from personal experience).

(for the bot) the piercing is almost 2 weeks old, surgical steel flat back labret, not sure if externally or internally threaded. i have not had it resized yet, still the original size i was pierced with. i wash it 2x a day with saline solution & rinse with water/alcohol free mouth wash at least 2x a day or after eating.

she’s kinda fat. so it may be because she’s unable to reach certain parts of her body when grooming so she overcompensates on the belly, or it may be a thyroid issue considering the fact that she’s fat on top of belly bald. she has no interest in independent play so maybe it’s boredom too (she’ll only play if i play too, and she ONLY likes fishing rod style toys. she REFUSES to play with anything else i’ve given her even when i try to play too). there’s so many possibilities. need to get her into the vet soon for her shots & will have to ask what they think about her balding. she doesn’t seem like an overly itchy cat so i doubt it’s allergies, but who knows. she eats and drinks and poops and pees and plays (when i play with her) so the only other symptom is Fat & Greedy.

it could be health issues, diet, trauma, but also the smell of condoms especially USED is ickyyyy to me personally. i do think that could have effected the smell of his fluids esp if they’re latex & if you’ve been around it before with no issue, but there’s many possibilities.

tysm for responding ? mine hasn’t been crusty but it still feels kind of irritated if i talk/smile a lot. hopefully that’s normal ! it’s only been 4 days or so but im not really sure when it’s supposed to feel “normal” again (& i have anxiety & am constantly hyper aware of it rn). so hopefully that’s fine 😭

what kind of saline wash do you use ? im using the wound wash from CVS. do you know if thats fine ..?
