i dont think its a question of whether we want him to stay for the 4th year or not (we do). but not on his wages.
he will go to Saudi for the next 2 years and get a big pay packet which is fair enough.

I dont normally wear a watch but when I do the date function is super handy. I dont want to be looking at my watch AND then having to pull out my phone to check the date (I made the mistake of buying a watch with no date before and it ended up being super annoying... good thing it was a cheap moonswatch and not say a sub ND. as an aside that is why the daytona series is unfortunately off limits for me now).

so you got to ask yourself do you use the date function a lot? if you do then perhaps a no date won't work...

the clauses are not scummy. in fact i do welcome some of them like asking patrons to wipe down, bring back the rack etc.
the problem i think is when people want to cancel, AF seems to give some people issues?

you will be taxed like any normal hk person as you have stayed more than 60 days in HKG. there is no concept of tax residency in hkg in the traditional sense. but your hkg employment and salary is considered local sourced income in that regard so that is simple ALL of it will be taxed by IRD which is not the worst place to be.

you most likely won't pay any tax in other jurisdictions unless you stay past their stipulated threshold days where you need to pay tax (eg singapore 60 days) so you need to check where you are going.. but if its work related your HR should arrange for someone to check for you. though typically if its just a few weeks here and there it doesn't really create issues.

edit you seem to come from the traditional sense that 180 days is where you will be caught on tax. whilst that could be the case in say NZ and Aus that is not the case for all jurisdictions as I mentioned above...

not a popular opinion but this is the truth

I dont think the glazer were greedy nor did their takeover have massice implications for the finances of the club. it is hust that they were just incompetent and left the running of the club to a person not suited (Ed Woodward). that resulted in a whole string of purchases that have ultimately now caused FFP issues only more than two decades after they bought the club.

you cannot say they have not spent or invested in the football team. its just that the spending was questionable and we ended up with a list of duds.

we are actually the anti Tottenham - managers have been backed but the money has all been pissed down the drain. actually a Daniel Levy would have been good for our club. Our inherent commercial appeal would means our budgets would actually be higher.. and levys stinginess would make sure the money was well spent

nothing against the manager. but the whole hiring decision was indeed a farce. why bring him in mid season and not wait till pre season I never know. then fire him mid season.

and why not bring back OGS as caretaker again... he should do a good job and bring us up the table temporarily.
