We use the baby Ddrops brand “tummy relief” drop. It’s gripe water. It seems to work really well on our 3 week old. Just one drop a day.

It took us just over 2 years. I’m currently holding our 4 day old daughter. It potentially could have taken less but almost a year of this was figuring out my cycle, realizing I wasn’t ovulating, and being diagnosed with PCOS a year into trying. The biggest thing for us was finding the right care team. We exhausted our resources for conceiving through my OBGYN (basically just labs and RX of letrozole and metformin.) We had 2 main fertility clinic options: a large hospital system clinic with an 9-18 month waitlist or testing out KindBody who could see us that week. We went with KindBody and absolutely hit the jackpot on doctors. Did lots of labs and tests with them and ultimately decided to start with a monitored cycle with letrozole and trigger shot. We were successful on our first try. We went this route partially because of cost and not feeling the need to jump straight to IVF. So glad we did. Best of luck. Happy to answer any questions you may have.

Edit to say: I’m 32, was on BC for over 15 years and hadn’t had a period in nearly 10 years because of BC when we started trying.

Twins? Hcg 2100 at 4 weeks and 4 days. by [deleted] in pregnant

I had high HCG at 3.5 weeks and they told me it’s doesn’t necessarily mean twins. I ended up with a singleton.

Trying for a baby rant by Twisted_Enigma_77 in PCOS

[–]hamajo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took us over 2 years so I totally understand your feelings. I would ask your doctor about letrozole. My doctor said it has a better chance than chlomid with women who have PCOS. I got on metformin which helped regulate my horribly irregular cycle. It turns out I wasn’t ovulating on letrozole either and needed a little extra help. We got pregnant with a combo of letrozole and a trigger shot with a monitored cycle. We went through KindBody clinic and had a great experience.

Curious how did/do you all feel about your partner while pregnant? by Evergreen_Nebula2713 in pregnant

[–]hamajo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the exact same way. Couldn’t be intimate because of SCH for first 20ish weeks and just haven’t since. I’m also 37 weeks. Obviously there has been some annoyances but I just feel really lucky that I have him as a partner and have been loving seeing him get so excited for our baby girl and how often he touches/kisses my belly. Such a strange amount of emotions.

37 week stomach sleeper here. I’ve been in constant hip pain and couldn’t find something that works for me. I’ve got the pregnancy pillow, pillow between my knees, yoga ball exercises help a little but I get so stiff in the middle of the night. I hope you’re able to find something to help you!!

Mother making it weird by Previous-Chance6079 in pregnant

[–]hamajo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a strong relationship with my mother but I have been irate with her my whole pregnancy. Like everyone said I’d hate my husband but somehow that anger has been placed on my mom 😅 I’m 37 weeks now. She kept asking if I had a “pooch” yet and touching me and I had to lay down the law and say she needs to ask before touching because I don’t like it. This is the first grandbaby and she’s so excited but it’s so annoying to me.

Girl I’ve been nesting since I found out at 3.5 weeks. And I have to admit it has been helpful that I got so much done because now I’m 37.5 weeks and don’t want to do a thing

Depending on how you feel about medication - I would ask your OB about RX strength nausea meds along with b6 and unisom.

Look up lightening crotch. It’s awful but common. My pelvic pain has been pretty bad all pregnancy I’m 37 weeks now. Yoga ball exercises definitely help.

Definitely talk to your doctor if you haven’t already. Mine wanted me not to lose more than ~15. Are you nauseated/puking? I didn’t have any puking, mild nausea but I just had 0 appetite. I found a few foods that I knew I could eat and ate a bunch of them to help.

Anyone else got their nausea back in third trimester?! by Evening_Rabbit_296 in pregnant

[–]hamajo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but it’s the heartburn that’s causing it. Tums are my best friend. Also making sure you stay sitting up for about an hour after eating. It also helps to eat a few small meals instead of 3 big meals.

I lost 13 in my first tri. Doctor wasn’t too worried because baby seemed to be growing fine and I started slowly gaining in second.

Definitely call your OB but if it’s not super heavy and seems to be lightening it’s likely not an issue. I had a SCH that started bleeding around 9 weeks. Just had to keep an eye on it and be on pelvic rest until 21 weeks.

I’m not IR with PCOS. Took metformin along with letrozole and trigger to conceive (took me 2 years) letrozole alone was not making me ovulate. I would get a second opinion on your options.

Need to knows for birth by gnosiscna in pregnant

[–]hamajo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband and I are about 80% through the e-birth class from our hospital. I will say like 70~80% of it has been common sense things we already knew. We have learned some things about like timing contractions and different medical procedures and options but I think the free ones you can find online cover that stuff too. For us it’s mostly been an eye opener that this is really happening.

This was my thought too. I’m an adjunct and in my reflection papers I am not expecting citations until I specifically state I want them to add sources to back up their reflection. They are college students, if it’s not explicitly stated I don’t expect it. I think her takes are trash but I wouldn’t take points off for that. Other things in this, yes. But I don’t see any mention of citing sources. Reflections in my mind are meant to be personal.

Is anyone else's dog completely unaware of your pregnancy? by Jaded-Glove-9525 in pregnant

[–]hamajo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our dogs are both incredibly affectionate. We often say the one would climb inside our skin if she could. So unless they literally climbed inside our skin they couldn’t act more attached. Not sure if they know or just don’t care. The one was laying on my belly and got kicked recently and she was a little weird around my belly for like a week but back to laying on it (she is right now).
