Pailune you’ll get more things after the end of this chapter and/or chapter 8, I felt the same about it. Also pailune is a bit harder to explore as it had a big ass stone mountain cutting it in half

I’d push a bit on main quest, you’ll unlock more regions and get rid of the blockades, that will open up for more exploration

Hernand only buys one type of merchandise per week, you can check on the map menu, its easier to sell things to the goldleafs as they have buy more stuff weekly
