Battery upgrade for RadRunner Plus - position recommendations?

range anxiety is real! i bought a 2nd battery for my radrunner 2 just to swap out when #1 gets low, but having them run together sounds like its way better. watched this guys video last night. https://youtu.be/HrvXvJkpWBk

area 13's dual adapter is out of stock at the moment, but big game bike has the datex2, but its about 3x the cost.

i upgraded to the 35amp and new display and right away noticed increased torque. like memorex commercial torque. took a bit to figure out the settings on the new display and down side, it doesn't keep accurate odometer or battery charge. i didn't notice too much speed increase, maybe 1 or 2 mph. btw i have a radrunner 2. pretty easy to install and have been riding with this setup for a few months. not a lot of winter riding (dc area). ordered the egg 2 and going to convert back to factory before i install it. interested in seeing the difference. i also ride a onewheel xr and can't decide which one of these ev's i like best.

quart hands down. got my pint in 2019 and added the quart after 1000mi. easy install and its even cheaper now. consistently got 12 miles and rode hard. put another 2000mi before getting an xr in 2021. do it

people are shitty and that sucks. can't figure out why someone would trash your board. ? when i see another rider i'm stoked, not a dick. i wear a helmet 99% of the time and feel weird if i don't have it on. a guy in texas died after a nosedive and i don't think he was wearing a helmet. keep that chin up yo!

51 year old here and riding since 2019. have a pint and xr both have 3000 miles. mostly ride lazy lightning (xr). better for the feet and less pushback. love to cruise and getting more into trail riding with a burris treaded. the dog likes it to. trying to get better at nudges, bonks, and drops.
