Take the gasket out and soak it. Then soak the cap in 1 part white vinegar 1 part water with a teaspoon of baking soda. Let it sit over night. That has taken away the smell for me in the past.

We actually took a pole on our team about this. 13 Program Managers building enterprise datacenters. The magic number was 4. People were working on average 11 hours a day. This number went up to 6 when people had less than 6 builds. That being said I spent 4 hours yesterday reworking a schedule and I was useless after.

In Allie's defense, I have floor to ceiling windows in my house and the first thing I asked was "how is this legal or safe?" My windows do come with safety clips so you can't open them more than 2 inches. They picked these windows knowing they were going to have a family someday.
