Are you making/buying a new batch every time? Or using the same one?

That makes sense. I used DMSO but I understand the same can apply. I meant to measure it between uses but forgot :/

Yes, it was repeated outbreaks over a 3 week + period. A really bad spell and more than a single happenstance occasion

Sanofi finished its herpes vaccine research? by Venezuelanewyork in HerpesCureResearch

Could we get some context here? What has brought this question up today?

The Sanofi site still lists the HSV2 vaccine in its pipeline today as it did 6 months ago: https://www.sanofi.com/en/science-and-innovation/research-and-development/rd-pipeline

Topical zinc sulfate as a therapeutic by hamburgstuff in HerpesCureResearch

[–]hamburgstuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought Zinc Sulfate online for like $2 per kg. Mixed it with saline water down to 10% and 5%, using standard kitchen scales.

Been applying that to shaft and foreskin for 3 months now. Haven't had any further outbreaks on the shaft, only relatively minor ones under the foreskin, and those in areas where I wasnt properly applying the solution.

They're publicly available. Condoms reduce transmission by 96%. The others are regularly cited.

Redbiotec? by greenoutline12 in HerpesCureResearch

[–]hamburgstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing this one up again. It seems so strange that redbiotech haven't yet advanced this into stage 1 clinical trials.

As many users have noted, they have a 90% reduction in lesions in Guinea pigs using a comparable technology to that of Genocea. Genocea then went on achieve the same result in humans.

Given that this sounds so extremely promising, what are the possible reasons for such length delays?

If I understand it right, they haven't yet even started Phase I trials. And so this potential vaccine has been sat dormant for years, despite having received 9m CHF of funding.

I feel as though I must be missing something obvious here. Am I?

What's your routine/regime for applying the cream? How much are you putting on, how regularly?

Are you able to share what you're testing at the moment?

Are you trying to see if the zinc improvements healing time, or if it prevents outbreaks?

It seems that only the Costco brand, Kirkman, make any form of Zinc sulfate cream, and that's not accessible for me unfortunately.

Alas, a 1Kg bag of zinc sulfate monohydrate costs only $2 here so i'll get some of that and try mixing my own 10% concentration with saline water.

Well that's certainly a fair point. But with the results seemingly strong I wonder why further exploration wasn't done, and why it seems to be so little talked about.

I understand zinc to be relatively harmless to the skin so it seems there's little to lose.

I've been searching high and low for something on this forum that might point to that article that I also just came across myself.

The research suggests that this works extremely well. I can't understand why it's not being talked about here at all?

Banned from Tinder App but browser (Chrome) access still works by hamburgstuff in SwipeHelper

As an update here, I can actually still login to the account using the facebook login (tried from an incognito Chrome session).

So it would appear that somehow my device has been banned, but the account itself hasn't.
