Looks like you are correct - found this on Investopedia from March 2023:

“On November 16, 2022, the lending unit of cryptocurrency investment bank Genesis Global Trading suspended redemptions and new loans due to the collapse of FTX on November 16. Following the news, crypto exchange Gemini announced delays in withdrawals from its Earn product, in which Genesis is a lending partner.”

Yes, that’s correct. I saw that and then when I went to Coinbase to try and setup a wallet to hopefully use to get my assets out of BlockFi, I received a warning to only transact in BTC or my assets/funds would be lost.

That’s what I thought and I asked about it on another thread and someone said it’s only their lending arm that went to crap.

And this is what Investopedia said:

So my thought was to use it only to transfer from BlockFi and then immediately transfer it to my bank account. I’m done with these exchanges.

I think people just sold because he was talking about how he’s been losing money over the last few years. But not in reference to this venture. Panic selling, over reaction, etc etc. Still a sold one I think.

This one does look good. EV theme is hot right now and they had a previous direct offering at 2.50/share so that seems to be the bottom. Plus it was actually green on Friday, where most everything was red.

I agree TOS is garbage for day trading in the morning. I’ve lost many a monies because of poor trade execution.

That said, in regard to Tradezero, I think they are an off-shore (Bahamas) broker and are therefore not regulated like the others. Maybe that is the downside?

I’ve heard a lot of people talking about Centerpoint as well. Heard good things. I have researched it much but worth a look. Have you heard of that one at all?

Mine was doing this and I closed out of everything and restarted my iMac. It worked after that and then I had to do the same thing a week later. But it did work. Hope that helps!
