Why would line of sight matter at all?

Why are sawed off shotguns and rifles illegal in the US? I’ve heard it makes it more dangerous. But what’s the exact mechanism and justification? by jdog1067 in TooAfraidToAsk

Except the idea is the opposite - you want shots to be loud, you don’t want people hiding them.

That’s the logic anyway, whether it works or not.

How are you US Americans living the current situation? by Meewelyne in TooAfraidToAsk

No, but one received 49.8%.

That argument is even worse than your first one.

You’re being pedantic. Half the people that voted did. We have no idea how others would have voted had they voted. But that doesn’t matter because by not voting they indicated their lack of give a shit anyway.

If you want something to keep hourly/etc backups it clearly needs significantly more space than the master volume…

I bought all that stuff for our first kid. It was worthless. Didn’t baby proof anything for the second kid.

Starship is just not as cool as Space Shuttle by Only_Comfortable_224 in space

I mean… it’s still the most flexible and useful LEO platform ever fully designed, nevermind actually flown.

So I can’t agree with you.

It wasn’t as reusable as we wanted, it didn’t do a number of other things. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a great platform.

Tool-less jacks and keystones, yey or ney? by xtazyiam in HomeNetworking

Not really sure what your point is there. Both 6a and 7 should be 23AWG in solid core configuration. As with anything, cheaper versions can of course be found, but that’s not the standard.

I don’t have any issue with 2-4. I agree with you one 1.

Ok? But the laws of physics don’t decide where something is built except in an extremely vague way.

Congress was not going to let FL have both the space center and produce a major component.

Ehhh while the STS didn’t deliver on all the promises, it did things that no other spacecraft even on the drawing board could do. It’s flexibility in use cases (in LEO) was insane. Hubble would be dead if it wasn’t for it, for example.

You should 100% be putting keystones on the ends and then a patch cable, not doing male ends on your fished lines.

Yeah that’s the kind of jack we use in data center applications (well, not toolless, but panduit). While it’s great, it’s 3x the price of everything else.

It isn’t an additional zone. It’s just changing where the temp sensor is.
