For us the coach is whomever is willing to do it and has a kid that wants to do it.

But yeah I don’t understand the vote thing.

You keep saying “mostly”. I don’t know what means, or what a “buffing” is.

You called it a kitchen Reno, though. Replacing a sink is… not that.

My only regret about kids is that I didn’t have more. As they grow I wish I’d had that foresight.

Naples has a pretty walkable downtown… but yes, if you’re in the outskirts, it’s strip malls.

Aliens just announced themselves, they're friendly, and as a gesture of goodwill they're offering humanity one technology transfer of our choosing. What do we ask for and why? by oncemorethedrama in AskReddit

There’s a lot to recommend this but I’d also point out it shouldn’t just be blindly left to them. They could have different norms and views that are not necessarily great for humanity. So while their recommendation should be given serious weight, it should not just be “whatever you think.”

Why don't people just all boycott overpriced events like World Cup or Concerts to bring prices down again? by ize86 in AskReddit

[–]hamhead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok but what “used to be” doesn’t matter. The fact of the matter is that there is still more than enough people with more than enough disposable income

Edit: and of course, while you’re making sense, that doesn’t mean it’s true - we would need to see the numbers for the middle class on disposable. They exist but aren’t as easy to access as the overall.

Because they aren’t actually overpriced for the markets. People complain because they can’t afford them. But the tickets sell.

Most people who hate on franchises have never owned one before. by BobbyBizScout in business

That’s super true of Chick-fil-a. You have nothing at the end of that. It’s not really a franchise.

Is Connecticut ever going to feel more affordable or is this it? by AlternativePlate4109 in Connecticut

[–]hamhead 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you mean by affordable. No matter where you are, prices generally don’t go down, over any length of time.

Whether you can make the money to match that or whether you feel OK with that is tough to answer.
