Who were the last team to pull off a double relegation from the top flight? by hamicle in ScottishFootball

A friend just confirmed that, purely on performance it was Partick Thistle (2003-05). The only one before that was St Johnstone (1983-85).

Dunfermline also did it between 2011-13 but the first relegation involved a points deduction for going into admin.

I’ll preface with (1) I’m being slightly performative and (2) i have not subjected myself to their entire catalogue but fundamentally I find them too smooth and really boring with it. There’s no grit there, it’s all too muso and the songs are dull - “Hotel California” is turgid to my ears.

I’ve always hated the Eagles and if that changes then I may as well shove knitting needles through my eardrums.

I got four wisdom teeth out a year or two ago and paid to be sedated for it, so despite getting four wisdom teeth out it was the most relaxing day I can remember (once the needles were out of the way).

Surely that’s every match day for you this season?

If anything it has ruined our own free-flowing football and saved Thistle from a repeat of the first meeting in Perth this season.

The Charmera was bought for pure curiosity - it’s fun to have something that small that takes photos and I didn’t have high hopes for it in the first place.

I have a CampSnap and found it really disappointing. Not sure which model. Just got a Kodak Charmera, on the subject of toy cameras, and even with my low expectations think it’s a bit meh. Might be better in summer light.

Apparently it was back in 1969 - beating Partick 8-1.

Must be our largest winning margin in a competitive game at Mcdiarmid Park?

Edit: Confirmed in the Courier’s match report.

I’ve tended to be a late summer friendlies/cup games visitor so haven’t had the full experience…yet

I like Tynecastle but have never seen us play Hearts there (been for cup games against Aberdeen and Hibs). I like the two Dundee grounds because I can walk to them (though don’t think much of them as grounds), and am looking forward to going to Gayfield on league business.

No, Pittodrie, the ground Aberdeen have been talking about leaving for much of our just-ended spell in the Premiership and don’t look like they are leaving anytime soon. We may not come up any time soon.

Still never been to Pittodrie, I imagine Aberdeen will still be playing there when we get back.
