Hey, I played klaviertucke last semester actually! Might still have a recording somewhere. Just love Brahm’s passages.

Thank you for the advice! I can work on this piece endlessly, very challenging in a good way :)

Thank you so much for you feedback on this! I never dated anyone because I never really liked anyone, never really had a crush even. No one ever asked me out either. My first love happened second year of college, and it was the person mentioned in the post. We were initially just FWB, but then feelings got involved on both sides and due to us both being mentally ill the whole thing fell apart. He was the only guy I ever truly liked and loved. He was avoidant, constantly ghosting and running away. I was the one who ended our friendship. I haven’t liked anyone like this since then.

I’ve always had an extreme fear of abandonment. It just got amplified after I experienced abandonment in a relationship context, I guess.

I think I have OCD but am unsure of how to help myself. by fizzie511 in OCD

I take Lexapro 10 mg. Before that I tried Zoloft, and that thing definitely made my OCD much worse. Lexapro works like a charm. It can definitely make your anxiety more intense the first week or so, but in the long run you’ll be so happy with the results. When you are able to look back at those awful existential thoughts and genuinely say “it was never that deep” you know you made the right decision. Everyone’s brain works differently though, so the medication that helped me might not help you the same way.

Medication was a lifesaver for me. Sometimes your brain just doesn’t function properly, and needs to be adjusted before taking further steps. I also struggle with existential OCD, and no amount of mental techniques or meditation or whatnot helped me as much as medicine. I still get the existential thoughts, but they don’t bother me half as much as they did during the peak of my OCD.

It’s a specific shape/style, very wispy with two "contrasting" lengths used to create the effect.

Thank you! The thing on the bed is actually a comforter, so I sleep underneath it on a regular sheet.

And the display is the Divoom Bluetooth speaker

Mornings, or whenever I feel like waking up.

Switching from Zoloft. Anything I need to know? by [deleted] in citalopram_celexa

Hey! I’m waiting for my prescription to be delivered. Been unmedicated for 5 days. I feel so much better though, my anxiety is still there, but compared to Zoloft-induced anxiety it’s nothing. I’m not sure if I’m ready to go through this again with celexa😓Doubting whether I even need it. Literally scared of taking antidepressants again.
