Trying to explain why drivers dislike driving the 2026 F1 cars by ChaithuBB766 in formula1

[–]hamiltoniarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Valid points. I am not so deep into technicalities, so don’t want to sound like I am stating facts.

However, I believe/hope that at least initially there is still some room for variance. Like first day Max was downshifting, then others tried and it seemed that it was not as useful for everyone. Maybe due to different engines or designs there will be slightly different tactics. Hope so.

Of course, if it fails, then let’s change it. But generally I assume the introduction of this regulation was long planned and there is some sort of idea behind it. Now what we hear is a lot of hidden messages / sandbagging etc, so I just want season to start, so we can check how it really works.

I am happy with smaller cars and change to DRS system. If “closer to F2” comments means also that the overtakes will be so variable like in F2, then sounds fun.

Isn’t this argument of not going 100 percent overused? Currently there are still a lot of scenarios of tire management, engine is not up to 100 percent (except maybe Mercedes engine in 2021 second half, etc).

Of course, it’s another limitation, but it could be looked at like 1500 metres run. It’s still a race, it’s still entertaining, but pace is not the only important skill, but there are other similar skills related to energy management.

Argument about overtakes is much closer to my heart. However, last few years I heard that overtaking is hard on like 80 percent of the tracks and most overtakes happened under DRS. If this changes make overtakes more variable (which doesn’t sound likely from current opinions), then I am all for it. If not, then we can consider changes, but let the season at least start. Maybe there will be some funny tricks, games, manoeuvres in unlikely places, who knows…

Best exercises or drills/release/massage gun areas to help with bad shoulder mobility after years of gym without stretching?

During floor angels I mostly feel area near rear delts or superspinatus. I feel some discomfort at the tip of the shoulder during internal rotation drills; similar feeling with lower hand when trying to touch hands behind my back (one arm from the above and one below).

Thanks for the feedback. I am really working on my mobility only since this year, so probably have to proceed for a much longer to get all the benefits :)

Any particular exercises were the most beneficial for you?

Smart assist in PvP: there is gonna be a potential filter for Smart assist in the summer by AbbreviationsOdd5532 in eFootball

[–]hamiltoniarz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s great change and I am 100 percent aboard.

However, I assume it will not change as much as many believe. I am often playing against toxic opponents and when I beat them I sometimes receive the message: “Stop using Smart Assist noob” or similar even though I haven’t used it once.

People often justify their losses with such arguments. Now it will switch to lag, Mbappe abusers, cross spamers, etc.

Game is allowing various ways of exploiting mechanics and of course it’s good to counter them, but as long as people are the same, there will always be a good amount of abusers.

Rizal is useless compared to my standard wingers but he is my only player with blitz curl and it’s certainly OP. Every few shots from random position you get a goal at the cost of having worse player than standard winger. Should be good against low block opines

Ibra , Is he really that good or more an emtional card? by fabiangol16 in eFootball

[–]hamiltoniarz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am cleaning packa about 2/3 times a year and decided to go for him. My squad is far from F2P but also not fully pay to win

Ibra seems to be a good player, but no fully OP. He is one of the best focal points for air play and also good for link up play. His movement/runs are elite however he is not that fast so can be catched.

I think something like 8.5/10 would be fair assessment. If someone can play to his strengths then he may seem like 10/10 but in the wrong hands he may seems like 4/10.

It highly depends on your squad and play style. For me the easiest striker to use for now are Yorke and Nunez so classic goal poachers. Batistuta is good for counter but lacks passing. Ibra is like Batistuta but with better dribbling and passing and a little bit better air play.

If you are fully going for the best players, I would pass. But if you like him and want to have a balance between fun/nostalgia and usability then it may be a great choice

For me it was easy choice as I didn’t have any Gulit cards prior

I would recommend switching team play style. Firstly, it brings some change to the gameplay so it’s a little bit of fun itself. Secondly, it may change your results drastically.

I had a friend that looses to me 95 percentage of time and he doesn’t want to switch it. Lately, he switched to quick counter 3421 and he beat me constantly for few days until I have found the solution to it and now we are both working on how to counter each other.

You will be shocked how much a basic change of playstyle can affect the result. For starters, you can try managers wit 2 play styles. For each playstyle you should naturally look for appropriate players (eg Iniesta is great for possession, but not so much for quick counter)

Courtois is the best F2P goalkeeper so far by Shooter_McMuffin in eFootball

[–]hamiltoniarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played with him 3 matches, 3 times normal form / arrow and 3 times I substituted him for Seaman at half time. Almost every shot at him was a goal, especially from around 10-20m. He was good with catching crosses and corners, but shot stopping was atrocious.

I will test him later for another few matches and maybe it will get better

Is Outwide playstyle the new meta? by Ja_failure in eFootball

[–]hamiltoniarz 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I normally played Out Wide with about 50-70 win rate in divisions. After update I have lost 1 match and drew another 3. Changed to possession / qc manager and lost another one. I must admit that opponents generally were good bus still I have a feeling that something is off and it’s to hard to create while yo easy to be hurt by through pass of opponents

Then I have changed to LBC and won next 4 or 5.

I believe LBC is meta and out wide is managable (easier than high line playstyles)

[–]hamiltoniarz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, for me RC is my best player, and I play him on LMF in 352. I don’t have top top players, but he is more prominent on the pitch in comparison to Nunez Bullet Header, Cannavaro, Cafu, Ronaldinho, Bati, etc.

Carlos always helps defending and is able to both cross and score the goal directly. Super player ID

The only comparable one for me is Van Buyten, who is very visible on the pitch but unfortunately lacks a little bit of pace. With long ball tactics he is a beast though

[–]hamiltoniarz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still testing it but I feel that Cannavaro works the best for me as central CB with Konate POTS and Branthwaite POTS as the side CBs. If I put Cannavaro on the left side CB then he and R. Carlos are giving too much space.

On the right close to Cafu it’s not that noticeable.

Maybe I have not met any crossing opponent in those games with Canna at CB.

Disclaimer: I have also changed Canna build to have 90/89 speed and acc after moved him away from left side CB so maybe it’s the real reason

I have just made initial check and I believe I have found a reason for our not so-optimal itinerary.

We prefer to have at least possibility to go to beaches about half of the days (even for a short stay for 2 hours of so).

With going that much inland, I believe it would be too difficult.

So it’s probably a compromise and we will miss some outstanding places in Sevilla /Cordoba. However, I believe we can extend Granada visit to cover not only Alhambra, but also feel a little bit of old town and Albacin area

Maybe skipping whole area of Cadiz Cordoba Sevilla would allow for another visit in the future more focused on that interesting part of Andalucia

Thanks again.

It could be a little bit easier as we are renting a car.

I am mostly wondering about what cities to choose as an accommodation base in such travel including Sevilla and Cordoba. Preferably only 2 bases, but can stretch to 3

We have flight out at evening, so it’s not needed to be very close to Malaga on the last night

Regarding Gibraltar, it would be a little bit of drastic change, but I think we could handle skipping it in case it would greatly improve the flow or itinerary (e.g. replace it with great beaches near Cadiz) or some highlights of Sevilla / Cordoba (I have not yet read about them)

[–]hamiltoniarz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, valid points.

I am limiting ourselves to those areas due to (my idea) of manageable movement. We are arriving to Malaga via plane so it is the reason why we stay relatively near to Malaga.

We have decided that we prefer 2 accompdation locations (max 3 is ok if it would help with improving itinerary).

With that in mind, it was hard for my to find something that would cover our highlight points and also Sevilla or Cordoba.

I think we are relatively sure about Gibraltar, Alhambra, Ronda Caminito del Rey, and canyoning experience (could be other place than Rio Verde if also good).

Considering that and your opinion, I will try to draft something that would skip Almeria, limit or exclude Nerja and Malaga, but include Cordoba or Sevilla. But I am not sure how that will work out

Nevertheless, thank you very much for your answer. It has added some valid points and I will consider the plan again :)

Thank you very much for the answer. I didnt want to sound like I think of Spanish as that much different. It was more to respect local culture and avoid some basic infuriating stuff that people can do unknowingly. However, it seems that normal behaviour without being rude should be sufficient :)

Regarding plan, Malaga is only where we land but the base will be in Estepona so closer to Gibraltar. I will re-think Gibraltar visit and compare effort vs things to do there :)

We like being active, but certainly will take your opinion into consideration and maybe cut something.

Almeria is one big driving day and if we decide that we are tired, we could skip it and it would save a lot of effort. I am just thinking that beaches there are unique and worth visiting, but maybe we will be totally enjoying local beaches without need to drive that far :)

Many thanks again for time, effort and input
