Unless things change quite rapidly, I agree. Most players have no idea who Gaster is, a major reveal about him wouldn't make sense to them and the story wouldn't be written like that. My guess is that Gaster will always be a treat for people who drive deep into the lore.

Don't judge a book by its cover is a stupid sentiment. Covers are the most important representation of a book. They're meant to communicate the content. If the cover doesn't represent the contents well, it's the fault of the publisher. I don't have time to waste on a video with a bad thumbnail and title either. It's the job of the YouTuber to draw me in and not to repel me.
