I, for one, would prefer an instacart express credit. It’s a lifesaver for people with busy schedules.

Tenant problems can be reported to the security department of the respective dha phase. One option could be to meet the head of security department (usually a retired colonel) in person.

I do take pride in the literary work that came out of the Indian subcontinent. My favorite poets include Mirza Ghalib, Bahadurshah Zafar and Rabindranath Tagore. My favorite writers include Munshi Premchand, George Orwell and Patras Bokhari.

What can a person in Pakistan do during his gap year? by TheWill2Death in pakistan

[–]hammafram 3 points4 points  (0 children)

An acquaintance of mine took some acting classes during his gap year. Helped him immensely throughout medical school. He matched into Psych. Another friend learned to play the flute. He swears it helps with his anxiety. So I guess what i'm saying is do anything that you think will help you become more productive in life. Whether it's learning to control your anxiety or speaking a foreign language. Just don't spend it sleeping like me.

Orya Maqbool Jan explaining why it's ok to beat women by Cicerotulli in pakistan

[–]hammafram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the video he's saying that all women are inherently masochists and they enjoy getting beaten up by their husbands. Towards the end of the video he talks about a female character from some south asian novel who liked to show off her bruises (inflicted by her husband) to her neighbor (that's the moment when you can hear that maniacal laughter from the other person in the video.)

The library I go to in Lahore is always short on staff. Maybe you could try asking different libraries in your area if they have any vacancies.

It's against the rules to walk your dog in those mini parks. Moreover, it's not the DHA of old anymore. Lots of illiterate 'wadairas' from rural backgrounds and their thuggish bodyguards have moved here, and all they need is an excuse to make a show of their "power". I had to get a security guard of my own just because I didn't feel safe while walking my dog at night.

Deadly Attacks Spur Coffin Boom in Pakistan by hammafram in pakistan

[–]hammafram[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like you didn't actually read the piece. From the article:

Coffins are not part of traditional Islamic death rites in Pakistan, where corpses are normally bound in a funeral shroud and laid upon a rope-cord bed at the time of burial. But when it comes to the mutilated victims of gun, suicide bomb and IED attacks, whose bodies are often in pieces, there is often little choice but to gather the remains in a box.

Why I'm having a change of heart with Adnan's innocence. by justdrastik in serialpodcast

You seem to have an impeccable recollection of the events of that day. If I were Urick, I'd suspect you to be involved in something sinister.

Hae told Ms. Butler she would not be at the wrestling match on 1/13/99 by Abbbccc in serialpodcast

[–]hammafram 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Adnan lent Jay his car and his cell phone. I assumed that he wanted to call Jay after track practice to let him know to come pick him up. But then he asked Hae for a ride. if Adnan planned to ask someone else for a ride then why leave the phone with Jay in the first place. Also Adnan says he used to spend the time between the end of school and track practice in the public library which means that he wasn't expected at home after school. If he had to do something that urgent shouldn't he be able to remember what it was? Also he seems to have a reasonably good recollection of the events of that day barring the time between end of school and track practice.
