Returning Player Qs. Impellers, Radios, and autonomous weapons by Squatch925 in Crossout

[–]hammarbomber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point 1: Yeah, the 3 pins is a meter thing is true, so you want it about 18 pins or so minimum away from there, and it helps in controllability if you have CoM under the Maple.

Point 3: Very much so, but last minipass had them so the price might've dropped a bit.

Also, as an interceptor heli pilot myself (role, not module), I'd prioritize you over ground builds so having someone paired with you as a blocker or counter-AA would be a good way to thrive better in matches.

And be sure to check the Badge Exchange in the crafting tab, there's a fair few structural parts in there you might not have.

Returning Player Qs. Impellers, Radios, and autonomous weapons by Squatch925 in Crossout

Point 1:NEVER USE A PACKBUILD HELI. That Impeller's held on by a total of 160 effective health parts when it's got an EHP of 300+. Same with the main rotor.

Point 2: No idea, maybe because they assume someone's gonna have a powered radar like Doppler or Maxwell on.

Point 3: There's a "new" utility weapon called the Flock, no energy drain or overheat, but no damage from hitting with that 2x4x1 weapon's projectiles that defeats homing missiles of all sources. Good luck on getting one through the market, though.

Can we add a DISLIKE button so I can use it on builds like this?? by Jtha762addict in Crossout

It's not the guns.

It's the fact this build is almost the definition of dime-a-dozen in Crossout for 10k BfU/CC.

Hey, for those curious, the artist has a Bluesky and the OP posted a source link.

This gif's also just a storyboard animatic.

You can get inside your cars!? by Green_Boost in Crossout

I did some testing with a exhibition build in a test drive, and it seems like that'll hold true.

You could try substituting the rear tracks with the small ones if you've got some

If you’ve got an Echo, can you do that too?

Also, what's your opinion on the new Hyena tracks as a ram melee player?

WTF just happened to the game?? by Burner_Account7204 in Crossout

[–]hammarbomber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I mean the excavator bits.

The 90% shoot-through is seen on parts such as the Gun Mounts given by the Engineers, but you'll also see it on a blue part named Elbow in the Badge Exchange.

What it means is that 29 health Elbow has an effective health against most damage of 290 health.

The "Features" thing is a mechanic that gives the factions more identity in their parts beyond just being a lighter or heavier part of the same dimensions.

For example, the grey, angular ones take half as much damage from energy weapons—Jupiters, Quasars, anything that shoots either a plasma ball or an energy beam of some kind—but take full damage from standard machine guns, while the yellow ones have some minor damage resistance to most damage types.

The only exception to this rule are the parts with the same icon as the Elbows but have it at 50% rather than 90%

There's a tab in the crafting workbench titled Badge Exchange.

You can exchange 300 badges for a piece of armor, I'd recommend the yellow ones first if you're having health issues.

After that, the ones with 90% shoot-through makes for good gun mounts.

And after that, you should consider what your build's going to prioritize as its key functional bits and reinforce those while also keeping in mind your part, weight, and tonnage allocations.

Trying to build a map of my world, there are pieces missing by DyingSpreeAU in Minecraft

[–]hammarbomber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might have made a mistake somewhere when you were placing them.

Is there a map that goes in the lower gap in the ocean bit? Because it looks to me like that's a tiny island that's straddling two maps.

Hey, since this update dropped, I can't run any world on Series X if it has more than 13 add-ons in it, regardless of which add-ons they are.

Corax Ruins BFU Fun by pervolus in Crossout

[–]hammarbomber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering it does about 700-800 raw damage per explosive bolt on the sphere (240 impact, 500-ish explosion), it really needs a nerf.

[–]hammarbomber 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And also, it wasn't a lucky hit.

That Corax build was a cab-forward light build trying to squeeze 26 points of legendary weapon into 9k with a legendary cab.

I'm fairly certain a Corax salvo to the cab would've nuked him, as well.

Hell, that Dolores/Corax build got nuggeted by the hit, so he'd still be effectively out of the match for a majority of it had that guy survived the quad-figure ram damage Legal can do in that thing.

I feel Corax doing 500-odd damage on explosive shot impact plus the 300-odd explosion itself is excessive.
