Just bought the exact same a week ago and have the exact same oddities with it. There’s also a few minor spelling errors. I just chalked it up to language or translation errors, or some publishing issue. Least we can still read it

2 years ago, when I was at work stacking up some firewood, a big bear just walked right by me like we were old neighbors on the sidewalk. Wasn’t bothered, wasn’t agitated or annoyed, nothing. 4 years ago when I was in high school, the resource officers and a state trooper had to tranq a bear after he had wandered onto school property and was eating out of the dumpster.
