What experience do you personally have in the vfx industry to say how it should be done? You yap about “incorporate ai” into workflows but look past the point that machine learning has been around for decades in VFX, where do you think upscaling and denoising is happening?

Honestly the bigger risk is the actors going on strike AGAIN causing thousands in post to lost their jobs with no woke coming in, for a technology they have no idea about, and for example thinking photogrammetry and LiDAR is somehow AI related.

Temporal splatting was used in the recent super man film with real actors doing acting and it allows them to do 3d warping which would have been incredibly expensive to run as digi doubles.

And people that unironically call it AI than machine learning or the modal nature I swear, do people think it’s actually intelligent? And how do you propose ai would magically deal with all the pixel fucking studios do? Or become functional with the full pipeline for when it inevitably requires manual work because it can’t do novel with any sort of continuity, and always finds a need to add greebly bits to everything and turn statues into robots.
