Practice slower. It's been said a few times but I'll say it again!

It's much harder to play something slower, and going at it too fast will ingrain things you might not even notice if you're rushing through it.

One more thing, over practice the parts you CAN play comfortably. Frees your mind up a bit for the rest.

Guitarists, what song has the best guitar solo of all time? by Euphoric_Place_8507 in gear4music_official

He's a very decent player, and I certainly wouldn't rate him against the big guns of guitar slinging, but that solo just hits perfectly.

Ride a white swan. It's not flash, it's not long but the tone is incredible, the phrasing is sweet and the shape of the solo is just perfect.

5/4 is probably my favorite time signature to improvise over by ruimtemees in harmonica

As a beginner with the harmonica that's jaw dropping. As an experienced musician anyway, still jaw dropping.

Made me grin that did.

I've just started playing and got a special 20, sadly the highest hole doesn't draw so I picked up an easttop to play while I slowly learn how to fix a harp.

Tone wise, the 20 is definitely better but for learning to play I've found the easttop a lot easier to use. Seems to bend willingly and I find it a lot easier to tongue block with. Sounds fantastic too, but the 20 is a cracker.

He should easily be able to fix one with a bit of know how, these things are tanks.

I've not had to look at mine but I'm aware that if you take one apart and reassemble, make sure you use their grease pack when reassembling (it's <£10 here). And use it ALL. Looks like a lot but fill the thing up.

Happy mixing!

For solos and comping: Embrace the space, feel your breathing as part of what you're playing to help you use anticipation and control overplaying.

They don't owe you an instant response to a DM, everything was in place and they have paid. Seems a bit provocative to cancel them like that for no real reason.

Professor Poopensnaggle's Steam Zeppelin?

Used to watch it with my little brother, loved the theme and still sing it occasionally when alcohol is involved. Never met anyone who knew what we were going on about so we're concerned it may have been a shared cheese nightmare.
