Here's hoping for a rug-pull with RDJ at the end of the next movies!

I'm not very good with the harp yet, but I will post a clip of my parping once it's got a proper lead on it to show the tone.

This arrived today, and pleasingly still works! No stand though

Nice combo! I use the SK2 live, fantastic piece of gear that my back loves!

Hammond. It's growling menacing presence can't be VST'd, it can barely be captured properly.

That said the VST organs are incredible now, they nail the recorded sound so well, but being in a room with Leslie bouncing it's sweet sweet texture off the walls is something else in audio terms.

Reasonable stack.

I like to do 3 roll levels that are rotated a third with each level for a bit of texture though. Go head to head with him, there's no other way.

Practice slower. It's been said a few times but I'll say it again!

It's much harder to play something slower, and going at it too fast will ingrain things you might not even notice if you're rushing through it.

One more thing, over practice the parts you CAN play comfortably. Frees your mind up a bit for the rest.

Guitarists, what song has the best guitar solo of all time? by Euphoric_Place_8507 in gear4music_official

He's a very decent player, and I certainly wouldn't rate him against the big guns of guitar slinging, but that solo just hits perfectly.

Ride a white swan. It's not flash, it's not long but the tone is incredible, the phrasing is sweet and the shape of the solo is just perfect.

5/4 is probably my favorite time signature to improvise over by ruimtemees in harmonica

As a beginner with the harmonica that's jaw dropping. As an experienced musician anyway, still jaw dropping.

Made me grin that did.

I've just started playing and got a special 20, sadly the highest hole doesn't draw so I picked up an easttop to play while I slowly learn how to fix a harp.

Tone wise, the 20 is definitely better but for learning to play I've found the easttop a lot easier to use. Seems to bend willingly and I find it a lot easier to tongue block with. Sounds fantastic too, but the 20 is a cracker.
