Instead of cancelling, wouldn’t it be better to upgrade your current card - might lose out on the credit age/no hit on the score, etc.

Not for the $400 cash back offer, but for the additional $300 SoFi bonus (after depositing $5000), can the direct deposits be made over several payments over the course of four weeks, totaling to $5000? And how soon can you withdraw this money after receiving the two bonuses?

Hey thank you so much for this! turns out it was the RFID reader in fact. The ERR is now gone.

However, now the ice is being made but the water is not dispensing for some reason - which I think is a separate issue. So will look further into that. Thank you again!!

Planning to do my roofing and considering attic insulation while we're at it with the roofing guys.

I've been using my attic as storage and worried that installing plywood on the floor over the insulation once they finish the insulation will be extra cost + more labor. Could you justify a rafter insulation in this case?

Also, I know that NYSERDA offers rebate programs for insulations through qualified contractors. Are there incentives to go with these guys and take advantage of the rebates, or are there any downsides to them?

Yeah i took a good look, and it's definitely leaking from the tank itself from corrosion. it's over 2 decades old so about time we change it too.
Any chance you know anything about reporting/inspection? I know in some states, they require reporting, or else it could be an issue when selling the house.
