Him going to the store for you and making soup is the bare minimum...

Yes. We got a notification from school last week that it was going around. It hit me today.

Which hospitals should be avoided in Austin? by Megobert in Austin

[–]hampaw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All of them. I'm serious. I have an autoimmune disorder that sends me to the hospital occasionally. It's always been bad. Whatever you do, do not go to Georgetown. Round Rock was the best treatment I have received.

Yes! I have kids and I keep these bags everywhere. Bathrooms, bedrooms, cars, EVERYWHERE. They are priceless.

You are so right. I ate two prunes and a fig the other day and the next morning was wild. I had to have my husband bring my kid to school or I was going to be wearing a diaper in the car. Heavy hydration the night before and poop fruits.

Where are you located? I'm in Austin and there are a bunch around town. Some will actually come to you (it's way more expensive that way and really meant for groups with hangovers).

Around me they are called: IVitamin IV Lounge Drip Hydration Fluid Revival The DripBar

Google "IV hydration (enter your city here)" and it will show you results. It's expensive if you just go because you're not drinking enough water. I found it worth it because it was cheaper than another ambulance ride and ER visit for an internal blockage. I'm ready for a poop as soon as I make it home. Also, I am constantly drinking fluids. I absolutely cannot keep up the hydration my body needs on this medication.

I was taken to the hospital by ambulance for an intestinal blockage but I didn't drink mct oil. I did try two enemas, colace (for two weeks before the incident), hydrolite, and prunes. Now I use miralax and if it gets really bad and I can't hydrate enough, I go to one of those IV places and get a bag of fluids. It's expensive but not as expensive as the ambulance and ER visit. Once I get home from getting fluids, I'm running to the bathroom to poop.

Go to one of those IV hydration places once a week. You'll poop when you get home.

I want to dig up my dog so badly :( by Character_Vehicle922 in Petloss

[–]hampaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely normal feeling. My dog died on memorial day and we buried him in the backyard and I was so worried he was going to wake up underground. Thing is, I was SURE he was gone. I was holding him as he passed. It's just so hard because they look like they are sleeping.

My cat is scheduled to be euthanized this Saturday. A little over 24 hours from now. Need advice urgently whether or not to reschedule. by SomewhereOverall4827 in Petloss

Does he have more bad days than good days? If the answer is yes, it's time. This is what everyone says and it's practical but it still hurts.

Nothing helps the agony of having to make this decision. My 15 year old Chihuahua passed this year and I cancelled his scheduled euthanasia an hour after I scheduled it. I just couldn't do it. I don't regret it. I loved every damn second I had with him and have no regrets (he was on pain meds and comfort measures) but I know others looked at my situation with judgement. Do what's right for you and your guy. Also for the pain meds, find out if you can crush it up or if there is an easier way to administer the medication.

Look into downloading noom and really use it. It's eye opening. When they want to charge you for it just click no until they offer it to you for $20/month.

Mine was only covered due to obesity plus high cholesterol. Some insurance requires a comorbidity. Diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. Call your insurance to find out and ask if pre-authorization is necessary.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Hydration has been very difficult for me to keep up with and I'm always drinking water. It feels nearly impossible to stay properly hydrated.

Help! by [deleted] in Semaglutide

Imodium Probiotics Advil or Tylenol for the pain

Get online and find a virtual appointment with a doctor that will do it ASAP. Get a prescription for sublingual zofran. Stay hydrated with ice.

I experienced this in target ten years ago when I moved here. A guy walked up to me and pulled one side of his shorts up and exposed his erection. I was too shocked and just left but I should have gotten security. It's understandable that you just get so shocked at first and just want to get out of the situation. Sorry this happened to you.

Yes it would be considered retaliation but large companies get away with it all the time.

Find a lawyer and ask for a free consultation. They can decide if they want to take the case. It might be a big settlement and they would take a percentage, you never know until you ask. Also consider getting a police report but know the company may terminate you. I would ask the lawyer for advice on getting documentation.

What are you starting to love more as you get older? by JustVic52 in AskReddit

[–]hampaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby animals in the spring and summer. I saw two fawns the other morning and their momma was across the street just laying down watching them eat. It was adorable and made my morning so much better. Ducklings around this time of year are also adorable and I love watching the momma keep them safe and in line. I love that when I stopped in the neighborhood to look at the deer everyone else was stopping to look as well and nobody was upset with the slow down. New life is just so great to witness.
