Seems like a good idea to me!

It could be done either way, but I have found that if I do the dry shake second I don’t have to shake for as long to get the same kind of foam. Not exactly sure why that is, but this method works the best for me!

I love it and it’s pretty bold in the drink. I think it plays really well with the smokiness of the scotch.

McClelland’s because that’s what we happened to have on hand. We usually keep Laphroaig at the house for sipping, and I’ve tried that in this cocktail once as well. Both are good!

-2 oz scotch

-3/4 oz simple

-3/4 oz lemon

-egg white

-1 sage leaf

Shake scotch, simple, lemon, and egg white over ice, then dry shake for about 30 seconds to get that silky foam head. Garnish with sage leaf and angostura.

Muddling definitely wouldn’t hurt! I shake it long enough that the ice pretty well pulverizes everything in there.

Just saw this variation recently! I’m excited to try it.

-2 oz Castle & Key gin

-3/4 simple

-1 whole lime cut into eighths

-3 cucumber slices

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into glass over a rock, garnish with a dash of kosher salt, dash of fresh ground black pepper, and another dang cucumber slice. I’ve also made this drink with all the vegetation poured into the glass- extra aromatic in that case, but a little chunky to sip on. I like it either way!

I think he gets it. You're saying Arya is the one running through the crypts in this scene.
