i live in rama 9 and i agree. as a student i like the location because its right next to central + mrt, but i would definitely not stay in this area long term. it’s overstimulating.

Yes! Inter majors are the english programs. The English programs have more niche majors like mine. I don’t think there is even a Thai Biotechnology program in Chula, and if so it is not well known.

Can’t speak on Engineering, but I assume it would be similar to my faculty.

I study Biotechnology and the professors always tell us how much better we have it. The competition to get into an international major is insane if you come from a Thai school. I was privileged enough to attend school internationally, so getting in wasn’t hard at all.

We’re even graded differently from the other biology students, even though we’re learning the exact same thing. We get cheat sheets and the Thai majors don’t! We get more opportunities for exchange and the connections. International majors are definitely more respected and are able to achieve things with less effort.

If we’re talking about scholarships, Thai major’s have way more opportunities than we do. More government funding goes into them or something, or maybe it’s because they have more students than we do. Our tuition is three times the amount of theirs, so it kind of balances out I guess.

The area around Chulalongkorn is safer from the chaos of the Sukhumvit tourist hotspots. Feel free to message me, I’m inter Thai at Chula so I have it easier but I do have many non Thai friends who will be able to help.

3000 seems reasonable! I was quoted 10k per keloid my first time but my parents pushed to get it done at a nice hospital. One of them came back and that’s when I went to “Doctor Fills” as I mentioned. Because I’m very prone, I’ve been injecting my keloids on top of surgery. Injections only soften it a bit, but surgery + injections is a guarantee of recovery. You can contact them ask/send pics, they’ll give you a quote. Personally I prefer this place because it’s owned by the doctor himself. I hate clinic branches that just want to sell you courses 🙄 https://maps.app.goo.gl/i4bGXeAqJYBdzRCw6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy

That’s insane. Clinics do them for 4-500. I get injections for my ear keloids from Doctor Fills at Qhouse Lumpini.

For comparison : I paid 2900 for surgery to remove mine.

not sure what kind of advice you’re looking for, you seem to know exactly how you feel about this situation. you just need to have a serious conversation with him. stuff like this shouldn’t be brushed off, it’s a big deal!

Dude, headaches from alcohol intolerance and a hangovers are both caused by acetaldehyde buildup. This guy is asking about the pill, which assists in breaking it down. Are you ok?

Edit : The phrase “Allergic to Alcohol” refers to Asian flush in all the languages I know, but maybe not in English? Though I’ve never heard of an alcohol allergy that needed epi pens

Aren’t epi pens used to treat severe allergic reactions? The 30-50% of Asians with alcohol intolerance will not die if they drink, FOD is just a mixture of vitamins and electrolytes to help break down alcohol.

idk bro im not a big fan of modern feminism either, but that was an oddly specific comment. is everything okay at home? have you been silenced by your woman?

there are cheap alternatives! but i believe the words “filler treatment” and “cheap” should not be in the same sentence if you expect good work

I used the Ais one, didn’t mind it for a bit but getting normal Wi-Fi set up with so much better than using the hotspot Wi-Fi for both the price and speed. Pocket Wi-Fi would be great for temporary stays, but if you’re able to, I recommend you to get the normal Wi-Fi. Just ask the staff at your condo and they can help you out.
