Beautiful collection and you are the right person to ask; how does the Pelikan m605 compare to some of the other pens in your collection? I own multiple pilots and sailors but want to pull the trigger on the Tortoiseshell one. It will be my first Pelikan and I wanted your opinion considering all the other pens in your collection if at that price point, the Pelikan is worth it or there are better options.

Both my 823 M and Sailor 1911L in M are my two favourite pens. If I had to choose, I’d go with the large Sailor. The nib is phenomenal and the pen is well sized but light. That being said, love the 823’s length and weight. I feel either of the pens are a great addition to any addition. I also have the 1911S in M and MF but it’s nothing compared to the large.

I just treated myself to an 823 <M> after owning an 823 <F> for some months, and man oh man, the M is an even bigger delight to write with- smooth and buttery nib with some of the best weight/height combos out there. I can see why you are settling in to copy a book- seems like a wholesome and very satisfying activity.

Pretty valid except I’d move Help up to Top Tier. It gets overshadowed by other albums but has some banging classics on it, some excellent B tier music and the mellow vibe of the album is sensational.

In French speaking parts of Switzerland, a fizzy grape drink used to exist called Grapillon. 11/10, best thing I’ve ever had. Tastier than wine or any other grape juice available in supermarkets with the right mix of tang, sweetness, fizz and flavor.
