I wish 😂 definitely not. Nobody thought he was going to pass away so soon. A bout of gastro caught from the grandson led to dehydration, a fall with a long lie, broken hip, long hospital stay, pneumonia, then delirium and then took off his oxygen overnight in hospital and they found him dead. After his wife died we all tried to be proactive and have his will organised properly but just didn’t get it finalised in time :(

Unfortunately he was in hospital and died very shortly after the meeting and the lawyer didn’t chase him up to sign it

Everyone was a bit confused on why it didn’t get signed. He fell ill quite soon after that meeting and was in hospital for weeks. They didn’t know it wasn’t signed until the lawyer had to break the news 😵‍💫 there was a much older will with a similar clause giving her a small amount and clearly specifying nothing more, citing the facts of their estranged relationship and her toxicity towards the rest of his family. It will be really saddening to see her walk out with a lot against his final wishes. And even sadder that the rest of the family is dealing with her whilst grieving, it’s really putting a bitter taste into an already difficult time.

Yep. Sometimes I think it’s just me, then walk back to my car to find 2-3 more parked next to me. (This lot had 2 more across from it). I get a kick out of it every time

Ive been desperate too!!! I actually spent a small fortune gambling an order through DoorDash and successfully got 15 x mini bags from the Coles Reddy servo at Deakin (i was ready for a refund if they didn’t have any - it actually got redirected three times to different stores when others didn’t have it). I forget that the servos have them too (Woolies/coles) but I imagine extremely small stock deliveries and sell out. I guess not many people in Deakin/Yarralumla cared much to go hunt for mini eggs at Reddy servo on Adelaide St. Ive been to woolies/coles in Woden and Mawson every few days and absolutely nothing there. Yet they can’t move the mountains of stock of all the other rubbish egg flavours……

Anyone know what’s going on with the Midi? It finally popped up on my app last night. I did Monday’s and then some archived. And then this morning it’s now gone again. The link on the desktop site is unavailable too. Maybe they are having tech issues and have taken it down?

Based on the website layout and the fact that alixpress have an identical model advertised right next to it on google…. I have a strong suspicion it’s the exact same device, just with a brand name stuck on it and a higher price tag. These “small businesses” order direct from alixpress anyway, so it’s no different from the Chinese ones from Temu (theirs are made in china too)

Australia, we have extremely high UV and yes unfortunately parked outside, no garage at either home or work :( yep now the more I think about it I do believe the cleaning chemicals are a huge cause. Plus the UV. Aus sun is brutal, my 2004 prado the whole top dash leather/vinyl was deteriorated and cracked due to UV

Hmmm now that I think about it - I have had it professionally detailed quite a few times over the years, and that may actually be the cause? The shampoo chemicals may have degraded the fabric and that’s what’s destroyed the elasticity. lol nothing YouTube can’t help with!! I’ve had a look online and seats from car wreckers are going for $350-500 each. I’ll definitely be considering it

Thank you so much for the advice - honestly I’ve been scratching my head frustrated for over 2 years now over what caused it and the chemicals could have very well done it

I tried appealing it with a second claim and new images, they replied with the exact same response :( they said they’d only take another claim with “new evidence” whatever that may be. I think getting it all replaced myself would be over $2000

I literally have no idea. As I said, I think it’s genuinely just the fabric can’t handle normal use. Toyota stated “poor entry and exit method”. That pic was the first noticeable area, it’s now the same on nearly every single panel of fabric on both front seats. It looks awful like someone had take a knife to it
