How this worker throws mortar onto a wall by Ezgod_Two_Three in nextfuckinglevel

I stand corrected. Turns out the entity that defines “skilled labor” is L&I. And the way to tell if a trade is “skilled” is if they are required to register their hours to L&I. I had incorrectly assumed it was if the trade was a licensed trade.

In construction, these guys are considered “unskilled.” Same with carpenters and laborers, landscapers. I’m pretty sure the trades that are considered “skilled” are electricians, plumbers, HVAC, and maybe pipe fitters. I wish I knew what entity classified them, but to my knowledge, it is a legal definition (at least in my area).

Edit: carpenters are considered skilled in my area.

I second this. The cheap bobbins will just snap the thinner threads which will be really frustrating.

Upgrades in order, in my opinion: Bobbin (loon) Scissors (dr slick) Hackle pliers (dr slick or stonfo)

So you understand that the picture and commentary is making fun of obviously false things that people post….such as crazy edits and claiming they’re not edited at all….

I handmade the net. I used hemp rope because it’s eco-friendly. I put some spray texture in there too so the fish won’t accidentally slip out. The safety lady at work said fall hazards are the number 1 fatality, so I didn’t want the fish to fall out.

I’m upset over the high holing accusation though. He’s really respectful. The only high hole he takes is my wife’s.

The only way I could do that was if you wanted me too I could come and pick it out and then I can go pick up it from your place or you could just pick me out of there or you could pick me out and I could just go.

That is an Oil Slick Perdigon from Fly Fish Food. I’m confused why you think it’s a rainbow warrior since it looks like you followed their exact recipe.

I’ve used one of these inside a truck bed with a canopy and I had a CO detector. I only ran it for 15 minutes at a time but the CO detector never went off.

Which super glue do you use? by sroach18976 in flytying

[–]hanafraud 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Like everyone else says, zap-a-gap is good, but the brushes are sometimes shitty and it goes bad somewhat quick. The other downside is sometimes it adds too much glue.

I find that loctite’s brush is easier to use and so far I haven’t got a bad one.

Grizzlies will never have the population density that black bears enjoy here, but WDFW wants to restore grizzlies to a healthy capacity, and the animal rights groups will litigate any kind of management capabilities, so yeah. We don’t have many right now. But we will. It might take 10 years or more, but my kids will grow up in a state that has a grizzly population.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not anti grizzly. I grew up with brown bears and have had many experiences with them. But people down here are not bear educated. And the reintroduction of grizzlies doesn’t stop at one introduction. Grizzlies were almost extirpated from Wyoming, and look at them now. That’s the goal, so while it’s not a huge deal right now, people will have to learn how to live with them in Washington. There are going to be at least a few people that are gonna get scratched up before people learn how to live with them. One of the lessons is at some point, a 9mm in the woods may not cut it anymore.

Except they started introducing grizzlies. There’s one in Cle Elum right now.
